I wrote a lengthy, very detailed review full of glowing praise. It was one my all-time favorite dining experiences. My son... called me to say he was in an accident. Thank God, no injuries. The review disappeared and I don't have it in me to rewrite itjust now. I am hoping that it will pop out the ether. If not, I'll rewrite it later. We searched for this brewery on our way back from Luray Caverns to DC. It is a medium sized place and not much crowded due to... Sunday, maybe!! Beers were ok?ish- so we had one pint and moved on. Merch was looking good!! Read more
Perfect little pit stop after spending a day tubing on the Shenandoah River. Good selection of craft beers, tasty food options,... terrific service, and good ambiance. I can only speak to appetizers: we had the pretzel, buffalo wings, frickles, and old baywings, and all were delicious. The German style beers were on point and brought me back to Germany vacations. Would definitelystop in again if I?m in Front Royal. Read more
This was a great spot to stop in for some brews and lunch that is also dog friendly. We enjoyed everything we got - the pretzel... with beer cheese was our fav! The staff was very friendly and awesome with our pups, they even gave them their own water bowl!:) Read more
My husband and I are on our honeymoon in the Shenandoah national park. We stopped by vibrissa for dinner tonight and were blown... away. This was the best meal of our trip so far. As people in the food industry we understand what all went in to everythingbeing exactly right. The food was amazing as was the service and drinks. We started with the totchos and added pulled pork, hegot the chili Mac and I got the southern chicken sandwich. We wish we lived closer so we could try to whole menu. Hopefully wewill be back soon! As another review stated, the wait staff had no idea what beers that were available and what beers were not. A little frustrated... but no matter. The beers were crisp, very clean, the food was pretty good. The Mrs. and my daughter had a great time. The waitfor food was long but, there was a sign on the door asking for any help, especially cooks, to apply ASAP. It wasn't any bother,we certainly enjoyed their beer. Outside, I did notice that, as it started to rain, the covers on the nice sized patio were onlyfor shade. Rain went right through. Overall impression, a nice place with good beer and probably good food. They just need timeto get back in order after COVID. I'd definitely stop by if you're nearby. I know I will. Read more
4.5 star rating is more accurate to what we experienced. The beer was good, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was... great. The fries and the Reuben were a great kick in the tastebuds. Their Pepper Chicken sandwich was good, but could have usedmore of the spicy Mayo. The Scout milk stout was great, and brand new. Their Eddy Hopping IPA was good.
