We were visiting town and decided to stop in for a quick breakfast. The staff was very friendly, the food was great, and the... prices were very reasonable as well. Highly recommend the French toast! Read more

Terrible! We took the train from Cumberland and we were one of the first groups of people in the restaurant for lunch. The... waitress immediately came over and gave us menus and drinks (forgot my husbands which is fine but I?ll get to this in a min) andtook our order within 5 mins of sitting down. Things seemed great. Until the restaurant started to fill up. I?m not sure what orwhen it went wrong but 20 mins passed, 30 mins passed, 40 mins and we still didn?t have our food. Our waitress didn?t stop by tosee how things were OR even notice that my husband didn?t get his drink yet. All the tables of locals around us were gettingserved BUT us and it seemed all the people from our train ride. Finally after 45 mins we walked to the front to ask what wasgoing on and were told sorry we are doing our best??hmm. Not sure i would even say the food is good or bad. We had to have itpacked up because it took an hour to get served and by the time I could eat it was cold. The customer service was the worst. Iwould not recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you are on a time crunch to get back to the train. Find somewhere elsethat cares about their customers. Read more

The princess is a delightful little location hidden away on the main Street of frostburg Maryland. Restaurant screams of times... of old ages with many of the booths having a small personal stereo. Although the stereos no longer want work they add to thepicturesque nature of the restaurant. The food is good and well priced. With a wide variety of different items including ahomemade buffalo sauce as well as some barbecue options and many good cheeseburgers. Whether you're on a budget or just lookingfor a nice little local place to try I highly recommend this restaurant and I hope you definitely try and enjoy it as much as Ihave. Read more

We stopped here when we rode the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. It's a bit of a walk up the hill, but well worth it. ... Friendly staff, quick service, great prices, and good home cooked food. This place is more like a true American Diner. Wouldhighly recommend stopping here if you need a quick, cheap bite to eat! Read more

Fine pit stop for quick and cheap eats. They have a large menu and seemly nothing was over $10-12. Came with a group of 5 of us... and it was under $50. The food itself was nothing really special but nothing stood out as being bad. I personally had thechicken salad BLT and seasoned fries were solid. In a good location in Frostberg and has an interesting ambiance and historicalconnection with the visit from President Truman. - BJ Read more

Any meal at the Princess Restaurant is a good one. Home cooked meals and pies made in house! Portions are large and prices are... reasonable. Add to that the original 1930s wooden booths and old fashioned feel to the space, and you have a winner! Read more
