Best Prime Rib in the Grand Valley! I had the Prime Rib dinner served with baked potato, fresh green beans and complimented my... meal with a glass of Merlot. The Prime Rib was juicy, tender and a perfect medium rare. The entire meal was cooked toperfection! We arrived on a Saturday evening at 6:15pm and was seated immediately. We had an omelet with hashbrowns and a pancake. And a short stack pancakes. All very good. Omelet was so so delicious. Lots of... flavor and huge. The pancakes are great as well. I was surprised to see a few recent mediocre reviews because we had a great dinner here! It wasn't the best food I've ever had... or a place I would tell people they HAVE to visit, but it definitely hit the spot. Reviews are relative ???????. We happened tohit up Strayhorn after a 7 hour drive. So to have ice water, a very sweet, attentive waitress, and some comfort food wasawesome! Not bad not great. Diner food it seems. I had the chicken fried steak and it was OK, seasoning wasn?t great. The appetizer was... OK but not a lot of flavor. My buddy had the strip and it was cooked as it should have been, nothing special. I probably won?tgo back but if you?re in the area looking for some diner food you won?t be disappointed. We haven't been here for about a year due to inconsistencies each time we visited. We noticed tonight on Google that there were... new owners so we decided to give it a try. The meal was delicious. We had the porterhouse steak which was cooked perfectly rareas we requested. The old fashioned was done perfectly and the margarita was great as well.
