Love this Rubio's! Been coming here since 2009! It's always busy so I like to go before the lunch and dinner rush. Most of the... time there's only one employee behind the counter taking orders, getting online orders ready and delivering food to dine incustomers. Not any fault of employee, but it can be slow. Despite that, all is good! The salsa bar is back! Love their mild redsalsa the best! Original two taco plate with chips and beans is my choice. There's a special on Fridays too. Read more
Watered down salsa, and they?ll get your order wrong even after you tell them more than once, and even if you?re the first order... of the day. No other customers or line! I love Rubio?s because the food taste great, always usually good customer service andin my line of work. I work crazy hours that my lunch starts around 9-10am which most if not all Rubio?s open at 10am. So theconvenience for me works! However today I didn?t get my order right, and in fear of them doing something to my food since theyoffered to make it right. I opted to eat the ?Chipotle Honey Shrimp? Burrito I received (How can you misunderstand my statement?ATLANTIC SALMON BURRITO?????) and I realized it only had 2 shrimps, the burrito was skinny, and the chips had zero taste! Stopped here on a whim and so glad we did! Restaurant was clean and even though there were a lot of people there picking up and... placing orders, there was plenty of space. The food was so good! Super flavorful good and the chips and medium heat salsa hitthe spot. The corn was really grilled (as you can see) but it was really tasty. I don't recommend it if you don't like thecharred taste of corn. The only thing that wasn't so great was the corn tortilla on the carnitas taco. Maybe we didn't eat itfast enough but it was quite hard. Read more

Rubios Coastal Grill vs Rubios Fresh Mexican Grill.... I prefer the old name and the older Burritos.... The portion sizes seem... smaller and the burritos are just not filling.. Still the best fast food Mexican joint out there.. I appreciate the self-servesalsa counter. Their fresh chilis and salsa is good.. The original fish tacos and burritos are still their best... But I dosuspect they are giving smaller portions overall (like many restaurants today...) Maybe it's the higher minimum wage they haveto pay? We all lose... Read more
They advertise lunch specials until 2 pm everyday, and I arrive at 1:50 pm to stand in line. The 2 gentlemen ahead of me are... older and need explanations of salsa, fish, and garnishments. I step up to order precisely at 2 pm -- not 2:01pm -- to order,and the manager says that lunch specials stop at 2pm, no exceptions. I will not patronize any Rubio's here or anywhere else fromnow on. There is a Wahoo's right down the street, and I will go there instead because I do not tolerate bait and switch tactics. Read more
