This place is great! The ambiance is very modern-chic and service is attentive. Their pizza is delicious, although their... mushrooms seemed canned =( pasta seems homemade and the sauces have good flavors. You can tell they care about their food. Great customer service, the staff was super attentive. The octupus was a bit slimy for it to be grilled, I like mine a bit more... crisp with hard grill texture. The Brussel sprouts were abosolutley delicious. The fingerling potatoes and roasted multicoloredpeppers served with the octopus was yummy. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. On Wednesdays there is a live acousticguitarist. His music was soothing and not over powering. I will return. Read more
Food wasn’t bad... Everything tasted pretty standard, nothing memorable. Our server was not knowledgeable in the menu items at... all. I dine out for the experience so if our server can’t tell me the best dish, or what she prefers over another... Iautomatically assume none are worth eating. Very average experience overall. Read more
It's hard to write this review because it makes no sense. The food is excellent, the service is terrible. The reason I say it... makes no sense is because you can read several reviews online and I have literally spoken with more than several people who allagree that the service is so incredibly bad here that it's hard to understand why it continues. It's a mystery to me becausethe food is excellent but there is far too much competition in the name of excellent food in the DMV to ever return here. Igave them 3 stars off the strength of the food alone. I'm willing to spend money on food/drink/tip but it requires more thanjust good food but good treatment. I've visited several times and on the last visit I sat with a couple at the bar who explainedthat the service is terrible but the food is good. Today I sat a local restaurant and listened to two men talk about having towalk out without getting food because the service was so bad. I hope they can do something to improve soon. I would like toenjoy more of the menu but I can't justify spending the coin on terrible waitstaff. Read more
I had the pleasure of dining at Galliano, Maple Lawn. The Restaurant owners and staff go the extra mile to delight clients. It... was my first time and I enjoyed it so much, I returned the following week with my friend who has strong food preferences. Sheloved it, and can't wait to return. The servers are mature, experienced and have class and etiquette which gives the restaurantan elevated level of quality. Read more
