Had a great slice here. They only had cheese and pepperoni (I was told they did a specialty slice each day but apparently not),... so I got the pepperoni. Good old school pepperoni that curls up when you eat it. $3 for the slice was a very fair price. Theto-go container could use some work so the pizza wasn't bent, but this was a good stop for me. Ugh. I was so excited for this pizza after seeing some of the good reviews on here. We ordered the Smokey Robinson pizza. The... pizza is very cold, stuck to the box, and all of the sauce and toppings are in the middle of the pizza. The taste is good so Ican tell on a good day this can be good pizza. Some slices didn?t even have sauce on it. I was going to call to return thispizza but they are now closed, so we have to settle for this. I?ll probably never order or recommend eating here. Pretty good pizza. Few dollars overpriced for what it is (otherwise a 5 star). Nothing special for $23/ pizza. Wings were fine.... Skip the garlic bread. Read more

Sexton's is easily in my top 5 pizza shops in Columbus, partly because it's not just another Columbus style pizza joint (don't... get me wrong, I love a good 614 pie and will gladly down some Tommy's or Teritas). To put the quality in perspective, the firsttime my wife and I tried a Sexton's pizza we ended up ordering again the next day. Ingredient quality is top tier which lendsitself to one of my favorite things about their pies, which is balance. The flavors don't overwhelm, nothing is too salty, thesauce isn't too sweet, spices bite just enough, so you won't wake up thirsty in the morning. Speaking of the next morning, Ialso measure pizza by how it is cold the next and they pass this test with flying colors. Crust options are something Istrongly suggest exploring here because you have three to choose from: hand tossed, Motown, and Sicilian. You'll get the samebase flavor in all of these and none of them are bad. Hand tossed has a nice flop, just enough of a crust to feel a brief crunchbefore you hit the soft interior, and it's not greasey (btw pizza shouldn't be greasey and it's an indication of ovens thataren't up to the task). Motown may not be what you expect: it's thicker than hand tossed, stretched into a rectangle, but it'snot cooked in a buttered up pan. If you're looking to have a thicker more doughy pie it might be what you seek. Last andcertainly not least is Sicilian (pictured): by weight alone it probably weighs double what the others do and it is so, so, good. It's an incredibly soft yet dense crust, by the time you reach the edges you'll be glad the toppings aren't edge to edge becauseyou'll be greeted by more crunch and chew. It's an extra $2 but you'll know where those $2 went when you take the firstbite. Appetizers. I haven't worked through all of these yet. Like the rest of their menu I suspect there are no bad options.Skillet knots are a good starting point and they properly let you appreciate the sauce, and it tastes like very fre Read more

Ordered a Motown 10x14 deep dish and the pizza was hand tossed at best on one half and deep dish on the other. All the toppings... were tossed in the center of the pizza and the pizza was not a 10x14. We also ordered a large salad which only is enough for 2small sides for kids for $10. Aside from the pizza tasting really great the place is a rip off. Poor execution of a deep dishand being the first time we tried it I was truly let down. Now be if it of the doubt maybe the person working that day didn?treally care to be working. Read more

Great pizza! Sexton's has a lot of speciality pizzas that you won't find at other places. In addition, they aren't shy with... the toppings! Our pizza was cooked nicely. Everything we ordered tasted great! The staff was very friendly. The garlic knotswere some of the best we've had! This might be my new takeout destination! Read more

A coworker of mine knows the owner here and he raves about this place all the time so he invited me and my husband to check it... out this evening. We ordered the Kevin Bacon Detroit-style pizza, the Bee Bee Q pizza, and some boneless wings. ???? ???? ????The wings reminded me more of like jumbo popcorn chicken but they were crunchy, juicy, and flavorful. ???? Both pizza weredelicious but I think I liked the deep dish pizza crust the most. It was flaky and crunchy on the bottom and soft in the middle.???? Also, the garlic butter was a nice addition to dip the pizza in. ???????? Overall, my husband and I had a great experienceand will likely come back again or order pizza to go. ? Read more
