A serene setting for a fine meal. My server noticed that I ordered no meat, and alerted me that one broth was not vegan... very... thoughtful! All dishes (including my takeout for later) were delicious and generous. My all-time favorite Thai restaurant! Read more
They have about 8 tables out on the patio that can catch the sunset - if you wanted to time that. Pad Thai was ok - a little... over cooked ?, I?ve had worse, had better. Panang was decent, ?mild? really is mild, with not as much flavor - so recommendmedium +on that if you like Panang. Read more
This place got us through the pandemic. They survived and now thriving. One of our favorite restaurants in Gainesville for Asian... food. They have a great lunch special. Dinner price is also reasonable. The restaurant is located far from the road, so theirpatio is nice for spring and fall. Highly recommend their Coconut ice cream. Fantastic experience and highly recommended! Greeting and service was very quick and kind. The food was delicious and had the... perfect level of heat, consistency and flavor combinations. We were driving through Gainesville and needed to grab dinner before everything closed. We walked on 25min before closing and... they were very accommodating. Pad Pring Pork had great flavor although we wished it would have been spicer considering it wasordered HOT (it tasted more like mild, perhaps should have said Thai Hot?) The Veggie Massaman Curry was tasty and standardflavors. The jasmine rice was served in heart shapes that were super cute. The satay chicken is a go to for our kids, theyenjoyed it and the peanut sauce The dumplings were their favorite. Order a pot of jasmine tea as well - it's just bagged teamost places carry the loose tea which has stronger flavor, nonetheless passable. They brought the kids some kids plates whichwere cute. Ordered the chicken and mixed vegetables with brown sauce at Bangkok Square for lunch today. First we were served the soup of... the day, which was chicken and spinach with a spring roll in the side. The main dish was served in a reasonable amount of time,everything tasted good and fresh. Finally we were treated to a small dish of their coconut ice cream. The food here is ALWAYS freshly cooked and very tasty. Their lunch special is the best in town: soup, egg roll, entree, and mini... ice cream for $10 and some change! Portions are perfect. Presentation is excellent. Customer service is good. Location is alsogood. You might have to wait a while if taking out around dinner time, but it is worth the wait.
