So I?m Jenni from Jersey now living in Florida for about 2 years now n we all know that Jersey n ny are known for thee best... pizza ever! So I asked Mr Nick if his pizza was as good as Jersey n his response was ? it?s better!? N I told him if it was asgood as or better that I?d deff write a google review for him! Oh my goodness! My favorite pizza place in Gainesville! Everything that I have had is amazing. The lunch pasta specials will not... leave you hungry. It usually last a couple days for me. Their pizza is amazing also. Today I had half buffalo and half Hawaiian.Soooo yummy! Plus they deliver! Not sure how far they deliver since the office I work for is right down the street. Read more
This was the worst Margherita pizza I?ve ever had. There was no basil, and the chunks of tomato tasted like it was straight out... of a can. I contacted Peppino?s and they offered me 10% off my next order, but I don?t know if I?ll be ordering again. This wasmy third time ordering. The first time, I?d have given 4 stars. The pizza was decent (my roommate loved it), but I thought itwas just ok. The second time I ordered, I got a Bianca deluxe pizza which was mostly just piles of ricotta with a smallsmattering of chewy bacon. The garlic knots are delicious though. I just had Peppino?s for the first time and all I can say is?. WOW?.. I?m originally from north eastern NJ where pizza is like... air to us, I say that to say that we know good pizza when we taste it? Peppino?s is all that and then some! Amazing NY style pizza. The crust folds and has the perfect crunch. We got the Joe's favorite and the ricotta and fresh basil on... it was delicious and now I can't wait to try the pasta and calzones. Garlic knots were great and garlicy, and the marinara saucereinforces the idea that the pasta will be great. Employees were super nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were takencare of. Definitely one of the best places in Gainesville for NY style pizza! Ingredients tasted fresh, ratio of sauce to cheese was spot... on, and crust was chewy and crispy. We tried Peppino?s for the first time today. Great thin crust pizza and the Greek salad had super fresh ingredients, excellent... olives, real balsamic vinaigrette (not the Ken?s creamy vinaigrette you find most places), and squares of real feta.
