Our favorite post game spot to eat is this location of Mellow Mushroom - tucked away in a historic house on Green Street! The... food is always delivered as ordered and with the apps actually arriving first - which seems be to a lost art. Tonight we triedthe pretzel bites which are served with none other than a PBR cheese dip and marinara. Won?t lie this was a great start to ourmeal. We always choose the Greek salad and tonight it was perfect; loaded with the yummy toppings and just enough lettuce. Lastup was calzones all around. They were all stuffed with cheese and our favorite toppings and baked to perfection. But I cantfinish this review without a callout on the service. Our waiter was very friendly and we were never looking for him. He checkedin at all the right times and even asked the manager to change the closest tv to the game we wanted to watch. From the charming home converted into Restaurant and tastefully, and somewhat comically decorated, to the fresh Greek salad... with excellent vinaigrette dressing and excellent House Special pizza, this was a very pleasant experience and my first timehere. Mellow Mushroom offers many great foods but their pizza is by far the top seller. I enjoy the historical home that this... restaurant utilized to be such a ?homey? place to visit and enjoy a meal with some nice people, friends and family. They providea Sports bar type atmosphere throughout the entire establishment. The wait staff, cooks and managers have always greeted me witha smile and genuinely positive attitude. Delicious pizza in a great environment. The historic location makes every meal feel like an event. Pizza is great- the crust is... awesome. If you are a pesto fan, the Kosmic Karma can?t be beat. LOVED the spinach cheese dip, it was a next-level appetizerwith tangy, high quality cheeses and warm, crusty bread to dip. Had some fun cocktails too.
