Today, was my first time visiting Scott's Downtown. I was there for business, rather than dining. It's the most Lavish... Restaurant, I've ever seen- except in movies. Meeting Mr.Scott was what I envisioned it to be: a Man with integrity, vision anda sincere purpose in his commitment to customers and employees. This was our first experience eating at Scott’s downtown as we’ve heard so many good things about it. It was my husbands... birthday, and the 4 of us were not only extremely impressed by the atmosphere and food, but the staff was wonderful. I amkicking myself for forgetting our server’s name because she was AMAZING! She is a young girl with blonde hair with bluestreaks, and one of the kindest souls. Not only did she know the menu, stay on top of our drink refills and kept making sureeverything was going well after each thing was served, but she was great at engaging with guests. I’m almost 7 months pregnantand she was so excited for us. One of us ordered a steak medium rare and it was a tiiiiiny bit pinker than what she wanted(better to have steak less cooked than cooked too much!) and the chef came out himself to double check that everything wascooked to perfection, which it was. All of our food was incredible and good portion sizes. Three of us ordered dessert, and Iwas going to share with my husband. Instead, our lovely waitress brought me my own Death By chocolate piece of cake, telling meshe had one frequently in her 3rd trimester as well. Unnecessarily kind and thoughtful, and it was delicious like everythingelse! We are looking forward to visiting again for our next special occasion. Love this place! Read more
My husband and I chose Scott's for our 1 year wedding anniversary. What a great choice! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate and... the staff is beyond friendly. We had the lamb appetizer which I highly recommend. The steak and risotto was phenomenal. We willdefinitely be back to try more of their options! Read more
We went there for a wedding dinner and loved it! Person who was helping me reserve if was realllyyyy helpful (over the phone ).... But when we got there, they were not as organized as I expected it. No one knew where we suppose to be. And then we got the bestwaitress, sadly I don't remember her name(we were there in may). The food was phenomenal!!! I ordered steak with Brusselssprouts (the best Brussels sprouts I ever ate). I asked for my food to be cooked in olive oil only and instantly got a yesofc! Booked a last minute eat after a long day at lake Lanier. Food didn’t really live up to my expectations especially for the... price point. I got the PRIME Filet (med-rare) with 3 sides. The filet was very dry but also overcooked to medium plus.Would’ve also preferred a better crust on it rather then sprinkling the seasonings on top. With it being advertised as Primeshould be at least somewhat juicy/flavorful but I definitely felt like it was choice grade. Sides were pretty basic as I gotmushrooms in this soy sauce based sauce. Asparagus was up to par but I wasn’t really a fan of the shaved Brussels. Theydidn’t really have any taste. For appetizers we got the crab dip which was not hot at all, actually really cold sadly.There’s not much blue crab in there at all. The crackers that came with them were stale. Went for our 20th anniversary dinner, and I thought this was a fabulous restaurant. The service was wonderful, the drinks were... tasty, and the food was wonderful. My husband had the tenderloin meal and I had the scallop special. We also had the bakedavocado appetizer which was really great. I highly recommend the dessert sampler. So yummy! Read more
Average meal quality for an expensive price point. Nice setting, attentive waitress. Tried out the specials ceviche appetizer... (not bad, plantain chips were very thick), calamari (pretty good), ahi tuna appetizer (fine), Cajun pasta (average). Read more
