Definitely IMPRESSED with the ramen, quality of food, flavor, menu options and cleanliness of restaurant. Best ramen restaurant... in all places we've eaten worldwide. Their other menu offering are sushi burritos. About the size of a regular burrito. Willhave to try it next time. Read more
I would give the food 3 stars and staff 5 so overall a 4 star. Decided to try it out since closest Ramen place. Was kinda... disappointed. I got the pork buns and tonkasu ramen. The pork in both was super dry. And both just not very flavorful. Like theramen places I am used to like Raku or Umaido. The host/bus boy noticed I didn't each much of it and came over and was like waseverything okay and I was like I've had better and the pork was super dry. He said yeah they are doing something different withthe pork lately. And he was going to let the back know it was dry. Even offered to get me something else but I was like nah I'mgood. My brother and I decided to enjoy a stop here and the food was amazing, service was incredible, and the vampire ramen was not... for the feint of heart. (Seriously the Vampire Ramen is not to be messed with. And I eat hot stuff all the time.) Atmospherewas absolutely amazing as well. Read more
Without a doubt, my favorite place in Gainesville after moving down here. The first restaurant I picked from the LONG list of... options since I've never had restaurant quality Ramen before. Safe to say I'll absolutely be back to try more of what Zen Ramenoffers. The friendly host and waitress who chatted with me while i waited on my to go order made the experience 10 fold bettersince I was hella hungry and tired before I found myself braving the trek out to Gainesville Square.
