Soooo....I have passed by this place a billion times and have never stopped. Today was the day I finally stopped. I ordered the... half rack of ribs with two sides. I had the potato salad which was very good. No onions. I had the sweet baked beans.....Amazing! The ribs were good and tender. I ate them without sauce. They didn't need it. Rib Crib Gainesville, TX has given up completely. After receiving cold food after waiting much longer than normal... We had no... silverware. Waitress said she would be right back with it after dropping our food. 6 minutes later we were told by anotheremployee to ask our waitress because she couldn't help us. Then...this same employee has a conversation with our waitress anddoes not even mention that she forgot our silverware... We flag down a third employee. He actually kicked into gear and quicklytried to handle it by telling someone to get us silverware... After a few more minutes... We left. Cold food and no way to eatit. Wasn't the worst bbq I've had, however I had a simple lunch so my review is really only based on a hot link sandwich and some... beans. The service was great, very friendly waitress and fast service. Will try it again next time I'm in the area. Read more
I ordered 3 super lean sliced brisket sandwiches and one order of fries. After getting home, I realized they had not included... the fries. The sandwiches were hardly edible. I asked for trimmed beef, NO FAT. I did not get nice slices of beef. It lookedlike pile of meat waiting to be made into chopped beef with fat! Furthermore, the front desk person was inept.
