So I just ordered from here wanting to try it out as I had never have before. I got the curry fried rice, kung pao chicken and... hot and sour soup. The curry friend rice was great. The king pao though is so heavily breaded and most of it quite literallyjust the breading or flour and not actual chicken….the hot and sour soup though was the most horrendous thing I’veexperienced from a restaurant. It’s usually my favorite dish in American-Chinese cuisine but this was so thick, it had theconsistency of jello! It’s normally a soup with slight thickness but this was almost a solid. I thought it was just how itlooked and would taste fine but I had to spit it right out. I came in close to closing to be fair, but I wish they would havesaid they didn’t have soup worth serving. I ordered general tso chicken but that is not what was delivered. Crab Rangoon was decent and my son liked the shrimp lo mein.... They gave us spring rolls instead of egg rolls. I’m all about no contact delivery but they didn’t ring the doorbell, orcall so I had no idea my food was sitting outside or for how long. Read more
We've ordered from Hunan Cafe multiple times and we're always impressed by the food. It's within walking distance from us and... our order is always ready by the time we arrive which is perfect! I tried the wonton soup today and I'm so glad I did! I ordereda small and was surprised by the size. The seasme chicken and fried rice is my go to order. The sweet and sour chicken is alsogood! I don't know what the 1 star reviews are about, I've never been disappointed by this restaurant and would highly recommendyou give it a try! Read more

HIGHLY impressed with the portion, freshness, and taste of the dish.Food came out within reasonable time. The customer service from the moment I walked in to when I left was very attentive. NEGATIVE STARS! First time I ordered food, delivery took almost an hour; I ordered on the phone and they called back asking for... a tip even though I had already included it. The “chef’s special” general tso’s “chicken” was just sggy breading andI only found maybe 6 pieces of actual chicken at most. After almost 50 minutes of waiting, there was no apology and just apathetic “we’re busy.” I’m never ordering from Hunan Cafe again and I don’t recommend you do either. Read more
This place was great. The food was delicious and was ready super fast! The staff were nice and the portions were very generous.... I read the reviews before coming and I know a lot of the one star reviews are just wrong. I love how professional the owner waswith his replies so I decided to eat and write a review after, which I have never written a reviews for any restaurant before.The food was great and I'm happy to make this my first review.
