We have been here a few times and every time it's been the same. We had the same female server each time and she wasn't very... personal? She was "Hurried with us" almost to the point of not caring. Very short with you if you asked for something. The cookswhere good and tried to make the best of it and the food was the same as most Japanese Steakhouse. The Sodas on all occasionswhere flat tasting more of a syrup taste. If your not in a hurry and just want some good food but not Great food this place willdo that for you. Placed a take out order & went to pick it up 45min later, it was not ready, was told it would be right out, 20min later, I got... up to check on the order & was actually yelled at by the sushi waiter, who pointed in the direction of the folks waiting to beseated, that "we are busy with this". The chef put on a wonderful show and the food was delicious.

We were a party of ten family members. The chef was excellent, and put on a great show. It included great knife skills, as well... as some great tricks with eggs and an onion volcano. The food was well prepared right in front of us, and quite tasty. One ortwo of our family had the sushi plate, and thought it was quite good. Beware! 9/10 they will give you the wrong order. When I asked for the correct order the manager was SO rude. AWFUL customer... service. Food is WAY overpriced for quality and the small quantity they give you. Do not recommend to anyone.... Read more

This is an expensive place to eat. It's one of those places where it's cleaned and wiped with a rag, but you look around and... things still look greasy. Not sure I'd trust eating off the counters here if you know what I mean. Expect to pay top dollar forthe food, but the food isn't very good. It's average hibachi food, which tends to be slightly lower quality anyways, but I foundthis to worse than normal. Their shrimp was good, but their ribeye wasn't good at all. They cut it for you and then cook it foryou, which more or less ruins a nice cut of meet, but the meat in general just seemed to be low quality cuts. They also cut itfor me, but they didn't cut it all, and so there was strings of grissle holding lots of pieces together, and since I didn't havea knife, I couldn't do anything about it. Just drown everything in their mayonnaise based 'yum-yum' sauce (i.e. fried rice andvegetables), and power through. It's really difficult for mayonnaise based sauces to be bad. If you like ginger, they also offera sweet ginger based sauce as well. The hibachi show is mediocre. 25% of it was tricks, and the rest of it was just himslapping his metal spatulas on the metal grill. Maybe I'm being cynical, but it got me about as excited as I am writing this.The person cooking in front of us seemed like he said the same jokes over and over and he was bored of it. His lack of energytransferred to us also, and then he had trouble getting the table interested in playing food catch with him. Maybe today wasjust an off day for him? Man oh man... the wait. We had one person from our party who wasn't there, and was coming late, andthey refused to seat the other 6 people that were there because 1 person wasn't there. It was maddening. My entire party wasupset by it and even after passive-aggressively discussing it with the staff, they still refused to seat us. Besides that thestaff was pleasant. Read more

I haven't been to many hibachi places but out of the ones I have dined at Osaka is by far the best. The cheif here doesn't just... show off his skills he tells jokes and makes you laugh I will definitely be back a second time. Read more
