Terrible experience. An employee informed me that lunch starts at 11:00. So, I asked her the time. She relied with a smirk... that it was 10:56. Really? So I wait outside until 11:00. To my surprise, I see she is putting fried chicken in a bag forsomeone who must have also arrived before 11:00. Different rules for different people I guess. This Roy Rogers is a good one. This was my second visit. I arrived at around 2:15 on a Friday afternoon. I assumed that it... wouldn't be very crowded, since it was late for lunch and too early for dinner. But it was almost full of people. In spite ofthe line, the hostess taking orders was friendly and efficient. The manager was working as hard as all the other workers andfood orders were being filled quickly. The customers all seemed happy. One of my favorite features of the Roy Rogers chain isthe fixin's bar. It was filled and the toppings all looked fresh. The bar was clean and had plenty of napkins, salt and pepperpackets, and containers for sauces for to go orders. I had a regular roast beef sandwich and fries. They have a varied menu,but their roast beef is second to none in fast food, so it's hard for me to order anything else. This isn't deli style,processed roast beef. It is sliced from a freshly cooked roast. Delicious! I like to add the horseradish sauce and Roy RogersBBQ sauce to mine. They also make an awesome milk shake from real milk and hand-scooped ice cream. It is thick andperfect. The only thing wrong with this Roy Rogers is that it's too far from home for me to visit several times per week. Read more
Exceptional!!! This is the cleanest fast food restaurant I?ve ever seen, well stocked in front, attentive staff, especially... Jennifer at the counter kudos for her customer service, food hot and good; my mistake was to ask for a side of gravy for mybiscuit and it was mixed kinda poured over the biscuit which was on top of the potatoes, so my bad on that?I will be back andhope this exceptional fast food joint continues to be this awesome. One other observation, this place has to be good for anihop employee eating there in uniform. Read more
