Came here for the first time and food was good . Some reviews said pizza was a little greasy. However I think if you order a... whole pie , it won't be the same as getting individual slices. The taste of the pizza definitely reminds of places up north . I would absolutely go back. Next time I'm trying the chicken gyro . Try it out! Read more

Basil's Pizza, Subs and More is definitely a great find. It is one of the hidden gems in Gaithersburg for gyro lovers. Small... (not enough space to sit large groups), clean, fair prized, welcoming restaurant. Both the staff and owner are pleasant. Thegyros were authentic and the crispy fries were a winner. They have two types of fries. I chose the crispy fries. Delicious, nofuss good food at a very fair price. If that's what you're seeking, this restaurant is your destination. I really like the food here. Ordered 50+ times since living in the area. Figured I'd leave a review. Keep in mind this isn't a... chain. So you're not going to get Instagram worthy food ALL the time. HOWEVER, the food is pretty good. I usually get an extracheese pizza. But I've had the Greek pizza which was delicious. Steak and cheese comes with their in house spicy relish bydefault. If unsure ask for it on the side, but it's very good! They have some really good pasta dishes as well. There's achicken Parm pasta with TONS of cheese. Their default fries are great! A thinner fry with a crispy layer on the outside. Irecommend them for pickup. Their spot is kind of small, so sometimes delivery can be a bit long (not a lot of staff). Eating inis good too. They have about 6 tables, 4 chairs each. Prices are good and they are cool about deals. Just ask them if they havea deal for "a pizza with wings" for example. And speaking of wings.
