Authentic South Indian flavors. Order a cup of yogurt with the spicy food. I would definitely explore the seafood options. The... appetizers are equally good. This menu is not common in the US (at Indian restaurants). Worth the 30 minutes drive to get there Read more

We ordered chicken lollipops, chicken 65, dum goat biryani, tawa fish fry, bread basket and pallipalayam chicken curry for 6... member's. The food which I liked: Goat biryani in authentic Chennai style. Fish fry is good with less bones and lessspicy. Bread/roti is good Chicken curry is good with spicy flavor. The food which I feel average is: Chicken lollipop is nottasty but looks like colored red like Chennai style. Chicken 65 smells like coconut oil seems they fried in it, feels harderand not so tasty. Service is good. The ambience looks cool with old Chennai city pictures hanging over the walls. Seating feelslike bit congested. Overall a nice place to visit once. Read more

This is my third visit to chennai hoppers and it is one of my favorite restaurants now. Chicken65 deep fried in coconut oil is ... very aromatic and tasty. Virudhunagar Goat chukka kari dosa with curry leaves and green chilli reminded me of my hometownflavors. Chicken biriyani joined our menu nicely for taste buds. The badam milk was subtle and okay to try. Onion pakora, chicken lollipop, chicken kothu parota and Goat dum biriyani from my previous visit were also amazing. I would recommend chennaihoppers for my friends. Read more

We went to Chennai Hoppers last night for dinner for the first time and were surprised by how amazing their food was! The flavor... of the dishes were very rich and unique. It is the best Indian restaurant I have been to in my area. Customer service was great, the price is very reasonable and the portion is bigger than other local Indian restaurants. Highly recommend this place and wewill definitely visit again soon. Read more
