Joginderji is humble. Samosas were outstanding and food is reasonably priced. Would go there again

Naan bread was initially soft but bland, tasted better reheated at home with some salted butter. It tasted like it either came... from a bag or was sitting out for a while, instead of being baked fresh to order like other restaurants do. Meats were overcooked to the point of being dry despite the sauces, and curry & rice quality differs day to day or time of day, ranging from okquality to verging on sour taste from being too old. Desserts cost 8$/lb for dishes like jalebi, gulab jamun, gujar halwa, & aresupposed to be handmade. Pakora was tasty for being all spiced mashed potato filling, excellent value for 70 centsapiece. Overall, a small restaurant with a smaller side of options, cheapest prices anywhere but with small portions. Note theowner raised prices & cut out the (lunch-buffet substitute) individual value meals probably due to rising costs. Overallunbeatable prices at the cost of ok to substandard food quality for curries; better value for pakora, bread, & desserts. Read more

Three stars is for THE BEST SAMOSA in the town. Place is not that attractive for dine in. But then, I have dined in just a... couple of times. Price wise it is very affordable place. They also serve delicious wood fire oven pizza. again, they serve THEBEST SAMOSA in the Washington DC metro area. Read more

Ordered Samosa and Gulab Jamun for pick up. Samosa was only 70 cents a piece which is a good bargain. There is a big catch,... Chutney doesn't come with it. You have to pay $1.25 for approximately 2 oz. chutney. It's like bying Coffee for 25 cents butpaying for Cream and sugar. Anyway, Samosa was just ok and Gulab Jamun wasn't that good. We gave one more try to the restaurantthe other day. Ordered three dishes in dinner, Malai Kofta, Baingan Bhurta, and Okra. They were again a bargain for $5.00 apiece. After picking up we realized that they come in 8 oz container, basically half the order what you get in other restaurant. Also it doesn't come with rice. Baingan bhurta was tasty. Malai Kofta was just ok. Okra was very oily and chewy and after fewbites we gave up. Prices are cheap but as the old saying goes, cheap can not be good and good can not be cheap. Read more

Their somosas are the best. Very nice mom and pop shop with good food at reasonable prices. They like to pile on the cheese on... the pizzas. Got the 10inch and it was loaded with cheese. Too much cheese and not enough sauce imo. Probably won't get the pizzaagain here. Read more

Best value you will find! I just brought home tandoori chicken, butter chicken, three types of naan, two samosas, daal, and a... mango lassi for $19.30 after tax! All of it was delicious. The naan, samosas, and lassi were especially delicious. The tandoorichicken was a little more boring than some I've had, but wasn't dry. Restaurant has a casual interior and is also brick ovenpizzeria. Also has catering and lunch buffet. Read more
