A great experience! Waitress was very kind. $11.95 for 3 rolls! It came with miso, too--Pretty good deal. Will visit again.

One of the best sushi places that's off the proverbial beaten path. People tend to ignore this one and literally pay 2X the... price for the place on main street. While that location is popular, this sushi is simply the superior quality and much much moreaffordable. There's also a great place across the street. However, since the 2020 pandemic they have been carry out only.Meanwhile Nishiki has plenty of space inside without being crowded. Do not be fooled thinking that affordability = lowerquality. No, this is simply superb quality raw fish. The Tuna is succulent, Salmon is flavourful, Yellow Tail is almost sweet,Red Snapper is unique in taste, Eel is cooked to perfection, etc. are all unmatched in quality. They even have the usualtempura, donburi, dragon rolls, and other specials expected at a quality joint. Then there's the Ramen. It's rare for anexcellent sushi place to offer good quality ramen, granted, you should come here for the sushi. But it's good to know that oncein a while you can enjoy a good Ramen. Give this place a chance, and you will not regret having tried one of the best sushi???? this side of Japan (ok that that maybe too much). Read more

We love this place! I believe it is family ran, so the hospitality is very genuine also. The sushi, is delicious! The Volcano... roll, crispy salmon roll was to die for. Their white shrimp tempura was delicious, seaweed salad was refreshing and the Ramenwas also good. I actually love this side of the Kentlands, one of new fav spots! Read more

Very pleasantly surprised with this place! I've been a fan of their neighbors across the street for years so I wasn't sure how... they would do business wise. I've had ramen here once and it was good. But I really enjoyed the maki rolls that I got astake-out. I ordered and Alaska roll, salmon & avocado, and a spicy crunchy salmon. The spicy crunchy salmon was really good anda good level of spicy. The salmon tasted fresh! The cashier/server was very pleasant. They've now won me over and I'll bereturning to try more of their food. ???????????????????????? Read more

Amazing food! Very delicious!! We got the gyoza as an appetizer and the shrimp tempura and tonkatsu ramen. Both were... delicious. Service was very quick. My one complaint would be that our ramen was served warm but not hot, but that’s mypersonal preference. The air vent directly above me was also leaking on me, which wasn’t too fun either. Other than that, food was great and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good ramen spot. Read more

Out of all the other ramen places I’ve had in the Rockville/Gaithersburg area this place has the BEST Ramen!! Everything from... the broth, to the noddles, to the chicken was absolutely delicious! It was the perfect amount of Ramen and was definitelyfilling. I also got the Spicy Crunchy Shrimp roll which was also very delicious and a great portion amount. You can tell thefood is fresh which I love! My server was very attentive and kind as well as the other workers there. The service was great andquick! I will definitely be returning and directing friends to try Nishiki out! Read more

Nishiki is a special restaurant to me. The first time I stopped by was on a miserably cold, rainy day. I just had a rough move... to the area, and some comfort food I didn't have prep was about all I wanted. Spotting a place serving ramen was enough for meto shuffle in on auto-pilot. My waitress was attentive and smiling, and the atmosphere was warm. The prep area is open like mostramen & sushi joints, and was keeping up with a steady stream of to-go orders late in the afternoon. Nonetheless, my tea was outfast (fresh, piping hot, and kept topped up for the entirety of my dining experience), adjustments to my ramen were of noconsequence, and I had the entirety of my order before I knew it. The food was perfect. The generous portion of avocado & mangosushi was an incredibly fresh, and was so rejuvenating. The veggie ramen was similarly wondered, with my side of fried tofubeing delightfully crispy and filling. Despite how ravenous I was, I found myself taking home leftovers at the end of my latelunch – right along another cup of hot tea to-go that my waitress insisted I take with me (complete with a lemon wedge!). Inall, I spent less than $15 w/o tip for the experience. I was floored. Since then, I routinely find myself back here. I thinkI've dragged most of my friends and family to this little shop, and pointed every neighbor and coworker their way. That doesn'tstop me from dropping by whenever I need a pick-me-up. The atmosphere is just so welcoming and cozy, with staff that makes youfeel like you're home. The food being as filling and affordable as it is really seals the deal for me. Though I'm lukewarm onsushi, I highly recommend their unagi rolls. The rice is just perfect here, and the eel really melts in your mouth. Their ramenis truly some of the best in the area, too. While the tonkatsu is absolutely the star (and I'm very fond of the thick noodlekaraage ramen), the vegetable ramen is also incredible for veggies and omnis alike. If you haven't Read more

Loved the ramen here. The sushi and gyoza were pretty good as well, but the ramen was the best. Well seasoned and everything was... well cooked - the egg was slightly jammy and complimented the soup so well. Read more
