Cheap and decent sushi! There are plenty of options to choose from. I think people are expecting amazing quality from this... place, but at $4-$5 per roll I think this is a fantastic spot. My personal favorites are the sweet potato roll and the spiderroll (soft shell crab). Their other rolls like the salmon crunch and vegetable crunch are pretty good too. This is a local go-to spot for sushi. They have great prices and their sushi is always fresh. They have eliminated their indoor... seating, but there's a nice lawn and benches to sit on if the weather is nice. Read more
The jumbo tofu is our favorite food to order and their sushi are made in fresh. Not see other near by Sushi stores have more... reasonable price than Yoyogi. They also offer various choices of vegetarian sushi, which is the other stores might not availablefor such variety. We are frequently to order vegetarian sushis from this store. Read more
Came for a sushi dinner with fiance and a friend the other night. We all did an online order while sitting on a bench nearby and... got it at the window (they're window-only, which I think is a cool way to handle their small shop and COVID concerns!) The ladyat the window was quick and very nice, our orders were perfect, the menu was diverse and offered everything we could want, andno mistakes were made. Food was shockingly cheap for such good stuff! We walked a bit and found picnic tables around a corner tosit and enjoy it. Between us we went a little nuts and ordered lots of stuff?you could definitely get out for $15 per person,but we wanted to try lots of different things. Read more
This place is great! The rolls I ordered were under $5 each and had large portions of fish. The fish quality is decent, not... amazing but better than most places at this price point or a bit higher. They are only doing online orders right now. Read more
Their rolls are good. They are not as expensive. However, this place offers only sushi/rolls/sashimi and only for a takeout for... a mobile order. You can't walk in and order. Yoyogi was our favorite place to order from. They were closed for quite a while during the beginning of the pandemic. When they... reopened, their quality suffered a small bit but, of course, that's entirely understandable. They also get more customer trafficthan any restaurant I've ever seen. But the last few times we ordered, the quality declined a bit more each time. This time isthe worst. The majority of the rolls I ordered are literally falling apart. Most of them weren't even rolled to a close to beginwith. The fish is still fresh and delicious and other ingredients are still crisp and fresh, as well. However, Nine out of the14 rolls I ordered are crumbling so that I have to pick each one up by hand and eat my fish eggs with a spoon. Summary: Theirfood is as yummy as ever, but good luck trying to get the sushi into your gullet. Read more
The sus(h)i became a suNO. The tempura roll we ordered was cold and soggy, the California roll tasted a little sour and my... husband and I have a sour belly.
