Service was good. Food was fine but not amazing. Fresh bread and butter was yummy, didn't personally care for the olive oil... for dipping. Garlic bread with cheese was cooked well but didn't love the flavor. The marinara was good though. Alfredo waspretty safe. Did love the fresh parmesan. Read more

The staff was pleasant and efficient so I?m giving it an additional star but the food is a 1 star. We ordered the Sicilian pizza... and two side salads with bread and oil. They should just skip offering the oil for bread if using subpar ingredients. It tasteslike they use a standard cooking canola oil, and there is a vinegar that looks like balsamic or a red wine vinegar with shreddedparm on top. Its not authentic and just doesn?t taste good at all. They only have one dressing offering for the salads, creamyItalian but it?s more like a thousand island. The crust was nice thin and crispy(a plus) again the Ingredients used were awful.The ?diced tomatoes? are actually from a can and the sausage is sliced and taste like Johnsonville brauts. We ended up pickingoff all the toppings and realized there was no marinara on the pizza either. Read more
We made a visit from eastern Iowa, celebrating our 1st anniversary. We ordered the margarita pizza and it certainly did not... disappoint! That pizza was amazing! We were fortunate to be waited on by very friendly and hard working staff. We will surelyreturn, that is for sure! I?d say I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Galena, Illinois, wanting to experience anexcellent dining experience! Must love pizza?? Read more

Pizza was divine! Four of us split a large pizza along with their cheesy garlic bread (thank you to the man on the phone who... said we needed to order these!). We opted for half Chicken Tuscany and half Typo. Both were delicious! Restaurant wasremodeling while we visited so we chose take-out. Will definitely come again when we visit Galena next time! Probably some of the worst food I?ve ever had. Chicken Parmesan?!?! Really!! First of All no Parmesan, cheese?? Ok there was NO... cheese at all, very little sauce, chicken so over cooked it was hard and dry. The sauce on the pizza, bruschetta, and chickenParmesan had ZERO flavor!!!
