The best sushi I've ever hand. I got the Romeo and Juliet roll, and it was SO flavorful. They have soy paper, which is a huge... bonus for me (I don't care for seaweed wraps). The service was great. Didn't expect to find this gem in little ol Galena. Huge menu of options and sushi rolls for every taste and preference. Portion... sizes on sushi rolls is huge compared to similar restaurants. My only ask would have been for more options of spicier type rollsbut that's likely my southwest upbringing craving some heat with my rolls. Read more

Came here for dinner. The food was honestly pretty average- I got tofu teriyaki with fried rice and my friend got a noodle dish.... We started off with the vegetable gyoza which were super good, but the rest of the food was just okay. Maybe the sushi wasbetter- we saw people ordering it and it looked appetizing. Little Tokyo is a surprisingly delicious gem in downtown Galena. We have been wanting to go for awhile and glad we finally did!... The actual restaurant is much larger than we presumed with two indoor dining rooms and outdoor seating as well. I?ve had a lotof mediocre ginger salads and miso soups but their soup and salad was actually super good and a great way to start off. Ourtable got the hibachi for two (which honestly could be enough for 3-4 people if you start with an appetizer), a couple sushirolls, and the crispy Asian chicken. The hibachi rice and veggies were incredible and so flavorful. Nothing felt overly fatty orgreasy and everything tasted really fresh and cooked just right. For Japanese food, this is by far one of my favorite spots I?vebeen to in a long time. It?s authentic and well prepared. Pricing given this being a Galena restaurant was pretty fair as welland we had tons of leftovers to take home. We will absolutely be returning! Read more
