The best service we have ever received at a coffee shop. "Gina from Galena" talked to us about some of the flavors, gave us... great recommendations, and even asked us after giving us our drinks if we wanted more coffee or flavoring in them so that wewould like the taste better...and this was AFTER we paid/tipped. Came for the coffee, stayed for "Gina from Galena." What a great host and a fantastic personality. She walked us through how... making your coffee works and even in different grinding techniques. I made a Bourbon, Hazelnut, and Almond ground blend thatsmells divine and also ordered the Churro Latte which tasted like it's namesake. When coming back to Galena I'll make sure tostop by again. Incredibly inviting atmosphere. They got us in the door with the great smells and Gina was so welcoming and helpful. She asked... us a few questions about our coffee background and helped us pick one of the many flavors with ease. Highly recommend please trythe JAZZY JAVA! They also have magnetic darts that you can use to throw at the sign to choose your flavor. So neat! Read more
Gina and Britney were awesome baristas!! They helped us pick the perfect coffee for us to enjoy while walking down Main Street... Galena! The chocolate raspberry iced coffee was amazing and full of flavor and the dulce de leche was smooth and delicious! Wehighly recommend stopping in if you are in the area!! A plus? is that they roast and grind their own beans in shop and have kcups filled by them for your at home convenience! Read more
Awesome Coffee Experience! I believe it's something like 6000 different coffee flavor combinations.... and if you can't decide... you can take a dart and throw it at the menu board to help you make up your mind! Delicious coffee and really good tea selectionas well. When you're in Galena I would definitely make a point to stop into the Mean Bean. Read more
