First of all, the food is fabulous. Their steak is up there with the best I have ever had. They also have a nice wine list. The... owners take great care to make sure you have a wonderful experience. We have been there four times now. It?s our first choicefor special occasions. Seeing that we had our wedding dinner at Savory Kitchen, it was only fitting to celebrate our one yearanniversary there as well. When we were seated, there was an anniversary card on our table! A friend and I met to eat at Savory Kitchen due to the reviews on 07.22.22 (Friday). We were very disappointed that the... restaurant did NOT open its doors at the stated time if noon (even though we could see movement and lights in the kitchen area). We waited around until 12:15, along with other hungry people outside, then walked down Main Street to Bread & Vine for a verydelicious lunch instead. Read more
Savory is an amazing experience. The atmosphere is inviting and the quaint dining area is perfect to relax, have a... conversation, and enjoy the delicious food. We happened by this cozy spot and thankfully decided to drop in. Inside was a charming, intimate setting of tables for two. We... were greeted warmly by the waiter, who gave us excellent menu recommendations. The offerings were creative and delicious, withclearly much attention paid to detail by the chef. My wife and I visited Galena for my wife's birthday. This was her first trip to Galena and we decided to try Savory Kitchen for... a late lunch. When we arrived I was surprised to see that is was a small dining area, probably only 6 tables. The building wasvery nice and the chairs extremely comfortable. The waiter was very kind and attentive and did a great job explaining anythingwe asked. The menu wasn't expansive, but had a variety of options. The food was spectacular. What a great spot for lunch or dinner. We found this gem after some shopping down main street. We were promptly seated and... served. The lunch was great. I had the wild salmon salad. The marinated artichoke salad was our favorite. Not something you seeserved very often. The chef even stopped by to check on us. We look forward to returning when it's time for patio-dinningweather!
