As a visitor to the area, the Google images of this place is what drew me in! It definitely surpassed my expectations in person.... The atmosphere is great, beautifully decorated and filled with kind "baristas". I had to try the caramel macchiato after seeingsomeone's picture in their review. It was just as delicious as I thought it would be! If I was local, I'd be back regularly. Ifyou're looking for a cute, locally owned coffee joint during your stay in the area, I definitely recommend. My husband and I were visiting Galena for a short vacation and of course needed the daily morning coffee fix! We tried several... coffee shops while there, however this one had the most charm and their atmosphere was welcoming and warm. The use of theirspace was well done. The employees taking our order and making our drinks were kind and quick. Their coffee was a bit toobitter for my liking however that is a me thing not a trolley depot thing. Definitely swing in here for a cup of Joe if youfind yourself in the area! Nice things is?. If you?re waiting for the trolley tour, it is extremely convenient!! Read more
Nicely remodeled store, all very clean and updated. Service was curt, coffee was sadly disappointing. Ordered a pumpkin latte... & cinnamon roll - the espresso may have been fine, but the brand of syrup used had a bite to it and the drink just had too muchsyrup in it. Would give Trolley Depot another try if it weren't for the high prices; almost $12 for a medium latte and pastry. Read more
