First time here. Have heard many good reports from others in the past so every excited to try for myself. Service and food... were amazing! There are multiple dining areas on multiple floors, all very tastefully decorated. We will definitely be back! Read more

They were pretty busy on Friday night but our wait wasn’t bad. It’s a very fun restaurant with many rooms well decorated.... Our server was kind. She brought our drinks and we ordered the seafood stuffed mushrooms (yum!). I had lasagna - it was ok. Notthe best, not the worst. But I did order a side of the Alfredo sauce and that made it better! The salad is absolutely delicious. We even bought some of the dressing to take home! We’ll give it another shot when we are back in Galena. Read more

Wow this place was good. The server was top notch, her energy was awesome. I’m not usually a member of the CPC (Clean Plate... Club), but that Alfredo sauce was next level and I ate it all. Read more

Summary: Fairly bland and overpriced food. Nice environment and scenery however. Details: Coming into the restaurant, you're... met with an interesting building with a lot of nooks and crannies for intimate dining experiences. The place was quite nicelooking. However, all of this falls short in terms of the food. The fried ravioli was average, and the garlic bread left moreto be desired. The salad was probably what we enjoyed the most. I had the Carbonara and it was rather bland. Needed salt, pepper, and more butter for the Fettuccini. This aligns with recent reviews for the food. My partner's food was similar as well, being rather bland in taste. The portion was particularly small for the prices as well. Overall, it's a nice scenery, butperhaps we came on a bad day or the food quality has decreased over the years/due to Covid restrictions. Read more

Friendly service and an interesting space. The food was pretty bland and absolutely needed more salt. The pasta was overcooked... and everything our party had was really overpriced. That was NOT a $28 Seafood Bake... And a friend paid $16 for an Appletini. It's fine but you can do better. Read more

A few stairs to the entrance off Main Street each step closer to the great smells of Italian food. VV has delightful authentic... Italian dishes served in a quaint dining experience. The service was great, the food choice was plentiful and the price is onpar for the dining experience. Evening times are often booked so do yourself a favor and call ahead. Worth the wait and theclimb. Read more

This was likely the worst meal I have ever been served in a restaurant. Stuffed mushroom appetizer - theoretically stuffed with... crab. In fact, the mushrooms were stuffed with bread crumbs, then draped in cheese, and some sort of cream sauce, presumably tohide the fact that there was little to no crab in the dish at all. Veal marsala - the meat was tough and tasted like pork ratherthan veal. It had been soaked in vinegary Marsala, but had no other real flavor. The mushrooms were spongy. We sent it back. We then asked for lasagna, with the thought that it would be very difficult for an Italian restaurant to make bad lasagna.Wrong.  Someone in the kitchen decided that lasagna was two barely cooked noodles wrapped around a meatball smashed into arough rectangle topped with a large amount of mozzarella cheese then drenched in a flavorless marinara.  The only positive partof this experience was our waiter John who was very polite and courteous. After we paid and left we visited a small bakery downthe street. When we shared our experience with the staff we were told ours is not an uncommon one. Read more
