The food and service is fabulous, but be prepared for a wait to get your food. Today, it was nearly 40 minutes before our food... arrived. It was hot, fresh, and delicious, but the wait will likely prohibit us from returning for dine-in. If you?re onvacation and have plenty of time to wait, I heartily recommend it. Read more

Wanted a place to eat between Branson and Springfield recently. We were not disappointed. Arrived at 11. Stopped serving... breakfast 11 and they mean it. Ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich with tots on the side. Order came out promptly and hot. Mywife?s burger came was excellent also. Service was superb. Wait person was efficient and friendly. By the time we left everytable was full with the church crowd. Everyone except us were local which didn?t matter at all. If we lived nearby we would behappy to get our food there anytime. This is by far one of my favorite places to eat out. The staff is amazing and we always have good service. The owner is always... caring and very polite. If you want a home cooked meal with a warm setting this is the place to go to. The food taste amazingand the plate servings are huge! I always leave full and if not the desserts are to die for! Little resteraunt but decent space and plenty of room for dine in...they also have an outdoor seating area for after. Our... waitress was kind enough to let us wait outside as we just got off the river and were wet still. Food is priced reasonably andhas large portions for the price. Very friendly staff, even the cook came to ask how the food was...we will bereturning..especially for those fried pickles!!
