To start I'd like to say that the GM of the galesburg location doesn't have her ducks in a row. I was asked to come in for an... interview. I got there at 9:50 am the store did not open till 10:00 am. Which my interview was at ten that morning. The storejust opened and the GM had nothing pressing going on in the store at the time decided to reschedule my interview. So I simplysaid I'm not interested due to the fact that I can be on time but yet the person whom would be my boss can't even handle asimple interview she set up herself knowing I would be in she couldn't even be ready to have a quick ten minute chat. So no I'venever eating McAllisters nor will I and I won't be working for a company whose standards don't meet my job criteria. Read more
Chose the drive thru and probably was a mistake. Ordered the veggie sandwich and Mac n cheese with a cookie. Order took forever... to be taken at the box as well as took her quite a while to take my payment then waited another 10 or so minutes waiting on thefood. Didn?t get the cookie and was served with items I asked to not be on it. Sandwich was mediocre,Mac was bland and semicool. Definitely not worth the wait or price. My family & I have been to this Mcallister?s many times over the past couple years and this experience was the worst we?ve had.... (Not that it?s been super great before but?) We ordered our food, sat down, and waited OVER 10-15 minutes then our food finallystarted arriving. We didn?t even get our drinks until AFTER we were done eating. Not to mention that the cups we got were allkids cups? I definitely do NOT recommend eating here unless you have 45 minutes to wait. I did want to give a shout out to thepoor girl who was waiting on us. She was trying her best while being yelled at by her female employer to wait on both thedrive-thru AND the lobby. I've purchased many items in the past. Order online, go to pick-up items, have been told you have no order, show confirmation... and even have gone as far as showing that it was taken out of my account. I spoke with supposedly the MANAGER---rude as h***!!She even posted a note to my drinks. Being the front person of a business doesn't entitle you to be rude! I haven't been back inover a year. Keep getting emails on haven't seen you in a long time and miss you, well long story short, you probably won't getmy business again! Read more
Today was terrible. Both sandwiches we messed up. The fruit was frozen even though they say it wasn't then why was it covered in... ice from being frozen. Our pickles were disgusting and old. The manager was rude and so was the staff. They fixed my sandwichand it was the right thing but had barely any meat on it and the bread wasn't even toasted like normal. I am not happy about it. This salad was absolutely amazing. I?m usually iffy on vinaigrettes because most restaurants either make them with too much... vinegar or make them too sweet. This was neither. This was the raspberry almond vinaigrette and it was absolutely delicious. Thechicken in the salad was also super moist and well seasoned, enough that you can taste the spice but not so much that it burnsyour mouth. It pairs so well with the roasted almonds, Gorgonzola cheese, dried cranberries, and the vinaigrette. I definitelyfound a new favorite restaurant and will be back, hungry for more delicious experiences like this! Read more
I ordered lunch for our staff via their website. Order was confirmed, credit card charged, delivery was to be 11:45-12:15. At... 12:20, I called, the manager said she did not get the order, I had the confirmation number. She asked what I ordered, my replyfood for lunch, her reply, yes, that?s what we sell here. How Rude.
