Been a few years, but it?s even better than ever. Arrived at 2:00 on a Saturday and the people just kept on piling in. Ribs,... deviled eggs, onion rings, hoecakes, and no room for desert. Our waitress Rhonda was a gem. The food was very good. It was an extremely long wait this particular day. We had time not too... big of a deal. Understaffed was their issue. The sides were a lot smaller than I ever expected. All in all it wasn't horrible.But I'd still recommend it to others. Read more
I finally made it to Top Hog, to try out this food that everyone in America brags about! I must say, I was NOT disappointed! The... sides were simply delish and had the best flavor! We did have to wait a little bit and there is not a lot of room to be able tospread out. We did feel a bit rushed, because of how many people were standing on top of each other, waiting to be seated orpick up to-go orders. We visit this place from time to time and the food we order is always consistent. I usually order the catfish and it's always... fresh and flavorful. Probably one of the best places for catfish, surprisingly enough is a bbq joint. My girls order the bbqbaked potato when their with me and they seem to like it. My things is the bbq in my opinion isn't really a true smoked bbqflavor. It kind of reminds of the chain place down the street if you know who I mean. They have a good selection of sides andtheir desserts are great to help with that sweet tooth craving. Restaurant fills up fast but usually not too long of a wait aslong as people aren't camping out at their table. Cash or check only is accepted here so be aware. Read more

Some dang good barbecue with the best sweet tea this side of the Mississippi!the only thing sweeter than the tea was the... charming hospitality by the staff. The entire staff was awesome but our experience directly reflects the service from Erica! She made the dining experience that of something quite wonderful.
