I just stopped in for a light snack. I got an order of Onion Rings and a Pepsi and it was really good. This looks like a neat... little place. Sort of like a small White Castle but with more food menu options and more desserts. Very clean with friendlystaff. Very reasonable prices...Large Onion Ring and Large Pepsi was only about $5.50. This place has been in Gallipolis forever! My husband is a chocolate LOVER. This is the 1st place he has ever been this happy... with his extra, extra, extra chocolate milkshake. Said it was the best he's ever had! We travel and find out of the wayrestaurants to try. This is one of the best! Coneys and fries are pretty good to. We live in Athens, but we will be regulars! Definitely enjoyed the charm of the place. It was cute to see younger and older companies on dates. The dinner was okay, dessert... was great. I will absolutely go back for the desserts and burgers. Though I might call in my order for pickup, kinda felt likeall the other customers knew what they wanted and I was slowing everyone down by being a first timer. Read more
This place was so good! We went here on a while while visiting. The size of the shakes here are to DIE FOR. There's literally... nothing better than a huge vanilla shake, like I'm literally so down for that. The burgers and fries here we're great, and thefried mushrooms were a great treat too. Fun local burger place with lots of menu options. Definitely worth driving past the chain spots! Ice cream, chicken, hot dogs,... burgers, salads. Even had fun kids meals with a toy included. Read more
After running around greenhouses on a hot, sunny day we wanted ice cream.. Shake Shoppe sounded perfect. The ice cream part was... but the hot dog and hamburger not so much. Neither of them hot..they were barely warm. The French fries were steaming hot andtasted great! The cashier was just a warm body she didn't crack a smile or offer pleasantries..not even "thank you and have anice day". The building is old, dated and in need of a few repairs but seemed clean. The music was great and not blasting soloud you couldn't carry on a conversation. Read more
