This Travel Center Of America in Gallup has had a beautiful, complete renovation about a year ago. The food @ the Iron Skillet... was lightening-fast in delivery & top notch service. I got breakfast here and it was phenomenal I don't know about the rest of the food but the staff is friendly and the breakfast... is out of his world. Definitely try the vanilla pancakes. Read more
Walked in with my wife and son after a long morning of traveling. No seats were available on the left side of the restaurant, so... we sat alone on the right side. The gate was open indicating that side was being served, however we sat for 20 minutes andwaited to be asked our orders. The old lady and young man both seen us yet would not walk to us and take our orders. We finallygot up and left right as a table opened up on the left side, and I wanted to go sit there to see if we can get food, but onlybecause I was going to order a big meal and give no tip, but my wife is a better person than I am so she talked me out ofit. Guess we?re going to find somewhere else for Mother?s Day food. Get it together Country Pride. If the section was closed,then walk over and let us know. Who'd have thought that a restaurant inside of a TA truck stop would be really good? This one was! I got the southwest... buttermilk chicken sandwich. The fried chicken on it was crisp, the bacon was crisp, the veggies on it were fresh. My fries werecooked just how I like them, a little crunchy but not too much. Everyone else with me loved their burgers they ordered. Ourserver, Johnny, was very nice and very attentive. Gave us his thoughts about different food choices in a helpful way, and madesure to ask if we wanted anything added to our meals (condiments, onions, etc). If we ever roll through this part of New Mexicoagain, this will definitely be on our list of stops. Read more

I'm very impressed! This is the best service and food I've had in a long time. I had the smothered steer burger with mashed... potatoes, gravy, broccoli and a side salad. Jeremy was a very nice and attentive server, he went above and beyond to make sure Ihad everything I needed. Josiah made my dinner, the smothered steak was very tender and had the best flavor I've ever had. I'veate that a lot, it's my favorite. Thank you all so much! Read more
