This place looks simple and basic from the outside, but what they serve inside is far from simple. My server was Kevin and he... took some time to make some recommendations. There were so many things I wanted to try so I started with a cup of TheJobber…this is a Gumbo with shrimp, blue crab, andouille sausage, and white rice. You see two pics of this dish…beforestirred and after so you have an idea of all the goodness in this bowl. It has a nice kick but not so hot you can’t taste allthe flavors. I decided on the BLVD Sampler. Kevin even suggested as they weren’t busy yet (I was there for an early dinner) Igot the shrimp fried, the Redfish blackened, and the scallops grilled. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious, myfavorite was the fried shrimp and their homemade tartar sauce. The scalloped potatoes and green beans made great sides on thisdish. The menu isn’t huge, but it is diverse and I saw a number of dishes served to other tables and everything looked great.Incredible food and great service from Kevin made for a great meal. Read more
Fresh seafood dishes with exceptional table service. More fish and shrimp options than steaks, but so delicious regardless. Wide... selection of drinks. Nice interior view facing the ocean and Galveston pleasure pier. Relaxed vibes. They offer a wide range ofkid friendly dishes as well. It was a really lovely dinning experience. Mike, our waiter was amazing. His suggestions allowed us to fine tune our selections.... The dishes were tasty and the drinks were refreshing. We got dessert ???? and found the mousse rich and delicious. Creme Brulewas okay. We enjoyed the raspberry flavor of the three. Highly recommend. Read more
Don't be fooled by the outer appearance of this restaurant. With beach-front views, BLVD Seafood welcomed our family of 4 with... so much positive energy! There weren't to many guests in there until a little after 5:30pm, and I'm glad we got there rightbefore guests filled up the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and informed us of the day's catch and specials,especially the Happy Hour drink menu. ???? For our family of 4, we ordered 3 entrees and shared them. I had 2 drinks, and we hadjust enough room for 2 desserts that we shared. Read more
The restaurant is nice and everything but not the best. The employees are very friendly and service is fast. But the retaurant... is trying to be “boujee” on a “budget”. The scallops that I ordered was under the name “shareables” aka appetiserbut they gave me only 3 pieces. Lol. I forgot the exact price but it was around $17-18. The Calamari was very salty by itselfbut with the dip it tasted way better. I didn’t try my husband’s food but mine, the shrimp was very good but they gave megreen beans :’(. Like you are charging around $25 or so and can’t even give something upscale like asparagus? I neverexpected Green beans on the plate, and they have green beans in multiple menu items. So yeah, this restaurant might be nice tomany but I travel a lot and have been in way better places which charge you less or at least give you proper portion/ food valuefor what they are charging you. This is a great little place right off the sea wall. The drinks were stout and reasonably priced. All the presentation of the... food was on point. The bacon wrapped shrimp and quail were awesome. The fried shrimp were good as well. All sides were great.Bacon Mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes, and risotto. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the “flagship” shrimp n gritswere sub par. It was drenched in a sauce that had a tomato base. Some of my least favorite shrimp n grits I have ever had. Iwill go back, but just avoid the shrimp n grits. Read more
We really enjoyed this restaurant. Came on a weekend, had an excellent service from the waitress, she really did a great job.... All the food we ordered was very delicious and fresh. We had more items from the menu that we didn’t take pictures of buteverything was delicious. We will definitely come back and try more things soon. Read more
We came here on a quick trip to Galveston and were not disappointed. We started with the Tuna poke bowl which was fresh and... delicious. We then had the BLVD sampler which was amazing. The catch of the day was redfish which was blackened to perfection.There were big bay shrimps and scallops both of which were tasty. We also added a fried soft shell crab which was totally worthit and something I would recommend in this dish because they do it so well. For cocktails we tried “the wave”, the“bourbon pecan pie”, a coconut margarita and the “Nippy Pear”. I would recommend any of them as they were allrefreshing. Misty Joe, our server, was bubbly and a whole lot of fun. She made several recommendations all of which turned outto be perfect. Overall this was a great experience at one of the best seawall seafood places we’ve been to. I would highlyrecommend! Read more
