I visited this place with my boyfriend and it was our first time. The food was good and the lady that helped us was very... friendly and helpful. The smell inside the locations reminded me of my grandma's house. Overall experience was awesome I had agood time. Read more

Been wanting to try this place since I moved her 5 years ago. Friendly customer service. Only thing is they didn't do double... rice. And it's a bummer no chips and salsa with to-go orders. Other than that great experience. Food is delicious. The tacoshells don't get all soggy. They stay delicious and crispy. Will definitely recommend. ???? Read more

I ordered a burrito with eggs, cheese, chorizo, and rice. The very first thing I noticed wrong was how hard the tortilla was and... how greasy the burrito was. It was gross!! The second thing that was wrong, was there was absolutely no rice in the burrito. Iwouldn't have considered this a big deal but I got charged extra for the rice that I DID NOT receive! The lady who took my moneyfor this awful food was so rude. I guess good help is hard to find so really can't be mad at the company for this. I would notrecommend going to this place. It was a total waste of money. I tried calling 3 times to the restaurant to resolve this matterbut no luck. Hopefully anyone else who visits this place has a better experience than the one that they gave me. Read more

I had the cheese stuffed poblano pepper, was served with rice wich had good flavor but kinda cold, refried beans delicious but... cold as well, salad and guacamole wich was delicious ; warmer sides would have made the plate good. Service on the other handwas lacking hospitality, no greeting, when we asked about some items in the menu waitress was rude ,checked on us only once(waitress was socializing with another worker it seemed) after me flagging another waitress who by the way was really friendlyand helpful , restaurant had only one other table. I have been to Galveston so many times and just found this place a few days ago. Food is delicious. The service is awesome. The... gentleman that attended us was super friendly with my family. My daughter was undecided with 2 dishes. She finally selected thepork guiso but the waiter brought her a small plate of the chicken mole that she also wanted. That was very sweet of him. Thechips are delicious. The Salsa that comes with it is not spicy and you must try. The food price is economical. We ordered 6plates with drinks and spent less then $84. The flour tortillas are humongous. It?s like 2 in 1. It is homemade so you must trywith some butter. Food was delicious. The have sodas, natural homemade drinks like horchata, tamarindo (my fav) and Mexican pop. This was our best meal at the island. One thing that I have to addressed are the restrooms. They are tinny and not handicappedappropriate. Other than that, everything else was awesome. This must be a stop whenever you are in the island. Read more
