This is one of my all time favorite restaurants in Galveston, but let me tell you why: The food is delicious to start out with... and the most important aspect to me is the consistency of good service. I have been coming here for years and I have yet to havea poor interaction with the staff or the quality of food. Major shout out to our waiter Hunter and his phenomenal customerservice. Calamari is a must here! Read more

I think if I ordered anything else I would've had a better experience. I got the gumbo thinking well this is a top-tier seafood... place, right? The gumbo came out slopped into a bowl. I got shrimp and crab in it as well. The rice was originally on the sidebut I just mixed it all together. The real issue here was the flavor. It really tasted kind of burned with some black specs init and it was ENTIRELY over seasoned to the point that I should have just sent it back. I guess I was just tired and put up withit, so that's my fault. But I highly recommend never ordering gumbo from this place. Everything else was great so I can't giveit 1-star due to that. We also had spinach dip with chips and it was really good. My wife had the chicken cesar salad andenjoyed it. One of my kids slept the whole time and the other ate half the pizza and fries. The waitress was very nice andattentive. I drank 4 or 5 cups of diet coke because I was absolutely dehydrated from running on the beach prior. Unfortunately,i'm not sure I will come back here just based on the gumbo. Read more

I had the fish, shrimp, stuffed shrimp and calamari. Everything was delicious. My son had the shrimp with fries and fried onions... he loved it. His friend had the shrimp gumbo which was also great. Service was perfect. Pricey but worth it. Read more

Went there as a party of 8, only waited about 29 minutes to get seated, The service was great, and friendly. Kept our drinks... full. The calamari and fried zucchini came out quick, they were a good appetizer. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly, butcould have used a tad bit more sauce on top of the shrimp, and my steak instead of being medium rare was a strong medium. Theflavor was there just slightly over cook. Over all a great dinner and will be returning. Read more

Very friendly and personable service, got a few drinks at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready. The stuffed... jalapeños appetizer was incredible, the fish lacked some flavor and the shrimp was a little too heavily breaded. We enjoyed ourmeal with a nice view Read more

We all really enjoyed our meals and service. Our server Amour was amazing and made our dinner awesome. Started with the lobster... bisque and it was delicious. Very creamy and good. They gave us some complimentary garlic bread which was amazing with thebisque. Had a top sirloin cooked medium rare and it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. It came with mashed potatoes andthey were on point. I added a lobster tail on the side. It was perfect. Nice addition to dinner. We finished dinner with 2deserts creme brulee and bread pudding and both were amazing. We had a bottle of the featured wine which was delicious. Greatmeal. Will return for sure. Read more
