Dined here for the first time to celebrate my cousin's birthday weekend. We were a party of four, restaurant was packed it was a... Saturday night. We were greeted at our table by Don (one of the owners) whom was making rounds at every table. Not only was theowner mingaline with customers he was also running food out of the kitchen. This is usually a sign you're in for an enjoyableevening. Our server (Thomas) was excellent the food amazing, the ambience elegant. We even had an opportunity to meet with Rico(co-owner and chef) in the kitchen to discuss their selection of Argentine ribeye which is featured on the menu. As we chattedChef Rico's hands were covered in flour as rolled out fresh pasta. Another good sign you're in for an enjoyable evening. If youhaven't tried this place I highly recommend you do. Be smart call ahead and reserve a table because this place gets packed. Wewill definitely be back.. thank you Don and Rico! Thomas too. Read more

Great service. The restaurant was not too busy on Sunday. We loved the Caprese salad. I liked the tile fish with pasta. The... eggplant was good too. Read more

My son who was called to training at Fort Hood so he couldn't make it, so I thought I'd cheer up my DIL and take her to lunch... for their 5th anniversary. She's pregnant and loved her shrimp scampi, but because of heartburn she had to pace herself. Thecalamari was excellent!! I had the seafood and shrimp ravioli pillows and that's was soooo good. The sauce was perfect and sowere the ravioli. The ambiance was relaxing and beautiful, just right for my daughter in law as she was sad my son was called totraining during this special moment. Nonetheless she had a amazing time and loved food. Though it was a spur of the momentspecial lunch, they tended to our every need. Read more

Very disappointing experience. I ordered the veal piccata and it was quite tasteless and very chewy. Where was the piccata... portion of the veal? Unfortunately, any sort of sauce with missing and it was very dry and bland. I sent it back and got themeatball appetizer, which was also disappointing. My husband ordered the lasagna and thought it was fine. He noted on thereservation that it was my birthday but it was not acknowledged at all. So yes, very disappointing place to eat a birthdaydinner. Read more

Riondo's is an authentic Italian experience with an abundance of southern hospitality. My fiancee and I had a perfect... experience. Angelique was friendly, patient, and overall had a charismatic and positive disposition throughout our dinner. Theymade our experience unique and memorable. Hats off to the ownership and staff of Riondo's. We thank you for our experience, andlook forward to our next visit to Galveston. Read more

3.5 stars for me. The service was 5 out of 5. Our waitress was amazing and on top of it. They brought out some complimentary... bread which was pretty good. We started with meatballs and they were 3 of 5 for me. Seemed a bit dense and the dish overallwas a bit cold. The seasoning and flavor was awesome of them. I got the lasagna for my main. Came out piping hot and haddecent flavor. Just something not super authentic tasting to me. 4 out of 5 star dish. My wife has the scallops and angel hairpasta. The scallops were cooked well but we're not cleaned properly. They were a bit gritty. Had a great bottle of wine aswell. Over all it was a 3.5 out of 5 star restaurant overall. They were super accommodating to our 10month old child screaming(we ate at 5 when the dining room was empty) Locals and will return. Read more

First time here and we only came for the Happy Hour. We tried the appetizer platter from the main menu and had a few mexitini.... OMG everything was excellent! From the hostess to the bartender to the food and drinks! We got a little tour of the banquet roomon the second level- very nice and could fit about 75 people. We will be back for dinner and plan on making reservations forthe vault room. Read more
