Oh man y'all...BEST sandwiches! I think I could live off the bread alone, so flippin' yummy! Lived in Austin for almost 20... years, been visiting Schlotzky's ever since. Moved to Galveston three years ago & what'dya know, two Schlotzky's on theisland! This location is closer to my house so I've been here many times, have always been satisfied, never left hungry. Worst customer experience! Absolutely unacceptable. My husband ordered a sandwich and 2 salads. Then he asked if they can add a... drink. The woman behind the counter acted like the world was going to end. She threw the biggest huffiest attitude. There was noquestion she was annoyed by this simple request and wanted to make sure he knew about it. My husband was so appalled by theattitude he asked her ?I?m sorry did I do something wrong?? Then told her to cancel the drink if it was too much trouble.Clearly it was too much for her because she didn?t give him a drink. Seriously?? Asking for a drink gets that kind of attitude?Do yourself a favor and keep on driving and find a place that wants your business. Read more
This is very convenient to go to based on my location, however, the lady at the register is rude every time I go in to place an... order. I ask for extra cheese and onions on my sandwich, but never get them, but I?m charged for them. We almost always order togo, and my daughter came home today complaining about the very same thing. Here 20 minutes before they close. Just me...wanted 1 sandwich to go. They took the order of the people right in front of me but... would not take my order. Evidently they've decided to close early because they have a lot to do tomorrow... does the managerknow this? When did this become acceptable? The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because of an employee. I know it's hard finding good help, but this girl seemed to... have a chip on her shoulder no matter how nice and polite we tried??? The food was very good, but before we finished she wastaking some items off the tables. Before getting up to leave she started pulling apart two tables we had joined together for afriend and our 2 well behaved grandsons. Won't eat in again, but will order from here. Just rude. Read more
