Please, please, please get someone who can speak English to work mornings at this Sonic. The lady who is there in the mornings... always tells us she is the only one there. She did not even know what a lemon Berry slush was. I have been ordering that foryears. Of course, I ended up with a strawberry limeade. This is getting so frustrating that we are about to start drivingfurther to the other Galveston Sonic to see if we can avoid these lengthy conversations trying to explain what we want. We goalmost every day for breakfast. Please give this woman some help with understanding English! Read more

After a wonderful day catching up with a friend we hadn't seen in 8 years, my wife and said simultaneously, Sonic Blast! I knew... there was a Sonic on Seawall Blvd on our way home so it was easy to get to. The drive-thru was moving quickly and the Blast wasours in no time. We were pleasantly surprised to find an extra portion of Reece's near the bottom. The most common way Sonicmesses up a Blast is not getting the candy mixed all the way to the bottom so this one was special. We'll be back. Read more

I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. The food was good but we almost never got it. We came to the drive-in, ordered... the food through the app and waited. The screen next to the car as well as the app told us the food was coming. Then all of thesudden, it just went away, as if they had given it to us?but no one had come out. After waiting a while trying to figure outwhat to do, we drove around to towards the drive through and found an employee there. After we told him what happened, he wasable to bring us the food. His excuse was, ?we are short staffed.? Read more

We had a horrible experience at this location. First of all my tea wasn't even tea, it was watered down and had no taste/sugar,... my husband asked for a root beer instead and it didn't taste good either. Second our order was messed up, we asked for tots onall meals, they gave us fries. They also shorted my husband an order of french toast sticks. We didn't even realize it until wegot home. We gave this location more than one chance before leaving a review. The first time, we pulled up, pressed the red button... and...waited for 20 minutes and still no one took our order. Switched to mobile and magically got our order within 5 minutes ofplacing the order. This was mid day, with a short drive thru line and only a couple other cars in a stall. The second timethrough was later on a Thursday night, significantly busier and only the drive thru was open and we ended up waiting probablyabout half an hour. Not as terrible given the volume of customers but we had to change our order up once we finally made it upto order because they weren't making blasts at the moment. The woman taking our order and the younger guy taking our paymentwere nice enough and the food was hot and what we expected to be getting, but we definitely won't be back unless we feel likewasting a half hour of our day. The place was too busy to help us. When we pressed the button at the stall, no one ever replied. We tried to get the attention... of one person 3 times and 2 other people one time which were all workers. No one replied or ever came to help us. This was atlunch time. We came back later that night and decided to try the drive thru. We found out that this location does not sell bagsof ice but that you can buy it by the cup. We did not eat the food. This place has gone to hell. You can't order online, you almost always have to go through the drive-thru because you can't... order in the individual spots. I just sat in line for 15 minutes for a small order of mozzarella sticks and a sweet tea andthen when I drove away I realized my food was cold. Read more

Took three visits over three days just to get some ice cream. Seriously, I cannot make this up. The first night, we pulled... into a stall about 9PM (Tuesday, June 26, 2022), sat in a stall for 20 minutes and nobody ever even took our order. Sat in thedrive-thru line for another 15 minutes, only ONE car pulled forward, and we just left. Next day we made a return visit at about9PM. This time we were able to get through the drive-thru fairly quickly (to be fair), but when we pulled up to order we weretold that they had no more ice cream We were going to order 5 blasts, but we changed to one slush. At the window, the personworking was nice, but explained that they get busy and they don't like having to clean the ice cream machine after hours. Sothey just stop serving ice cream. If I was the owner of this location, I would fire everyone and shutter it until I could getemployees who care (I know that is hard to do these days). And despite that, we still visited the next day in the middle of theday and got our ice cream (slow service, but no problem as I know it gets busy in the summer). So no, I most definitely wouldnot recommend that you plan on visiting this Sonic for any reason if you want to preserve your sanity. Pop in WalMart insteadand get you some ice cream pints (that is what we wound up doing twice).
