Delicious BBQ, fries, and fried okra. The mac-n-cheese was a little lacking in flavor, but everything else was superb! My hubby... and I split the 3 meat plate and ordered an extra side. We had the brisket, sausage, and pulled pork. The pulled pork wasdelicious, but a little sweet for our preference. We got the spicy bbq sauce, but it's really not that spicy as far as heatlevel. Ribs were a little over rendered but the sausage was on point. The staff were friendly and quick to bring the food out and clean... tables. I was able to grab a beer and relax with no pressure to leave. Give them a try, directly across from the beach. Read more
Staff is friendly and the resturant is clean. The food on the other hand, not what i was expecting... Came down to Galveston for... the weekend and decided to drop by here to have dinner, after seeing all the good reviews. Ordered the chopped brisket w/ a mac& cheese and my sister, who i was with, order the pulled brisket. Meat was VERY bland, neither of us finished our sandwiches.Mac was also lackluster. My wife and I split the 4 meat sampler and to put it simply, everything was good. Nothing to write home about but all of it was... very well done. The brisket and turkey were very moist and the sausage had really good flavor. The sides weren't very goodhowever. Read more
Enjoyed this delicious meal! The ribs are especially good. Very good place to stop for a meal while exploring Galveston. Just... across from the sea wall path, it?s really easy to stop at and get a great meal with a view of the ocean, or take the BBQ to thebeach. Would recommend! Read more
Went for a the first time on 10/25. Was very pleased! Had the two meat/two side plate with pulled pork and turkey with sides of... green beans and Mac and cheese. The pulled pork was very flavorful. The green beans had a hint of spice mixed in to them whichwas a nice surprise. The Mac and cheese was spot on. I wasn?t very impressed with the turkey. It was very moist, just wasn?tflavorful. The service was great. I didn?t catch the woman?s name, but she immediately brought out a bowl of water for our dog(we were sitting on the patio). She checked on us several times seeing if we needed anything. Super friendly! Will definitelyreturn. Read more
We had tried another BBQ place in Galveston and were unimpressed. You hear so much about BBQ in Texas that we really wanted a... good experience. We were not disappointed in Texas Pit Stop. We enjoyed the meat, sauce and the sides. We would definitelyreturn. Read more
Skip the fast food in Galveston and come here for some great food fast. Good size portions and drink selection. Great place to... go after a day at the beach. We will be back! Read more
