Dined here on a Saturday night. Parking was close and paid for by the restaurant if you dine there. The atmosphere is casual,... most people were wearing shorts and t-shirts. We made reservations from Google and were seated right away, while people walkingup without reservations were having to wait an hour, so recommend to make reservations on weekends. We were able to get a couchwith a table on the patio, overlooking Galveston Harbor. The view was fantastic and it made for a great date night for my wifeand I. Our waitress Daris was prompt, friendly and attentive. We started out with the Crab and Spinach Stuffed Shells which weredelicious! I had the Fried Seafood Platter which was huge and cooked to perfection with plenty of flavor. My wife had the filetwhich was a little under cooked but tolerable. She hates sending things back so she dealt with it. The drinks were spot on. Wehad the Chocolate Eruption for desert and it was also delicious! We made dinner reservations and thank goodness we did. It was packed. We had several different dishes. I have added photos so... you could know how the food is presented. Great Gumbo, fresh Caesar salad, and scallops. The oysters were a little small for myliking but the flavor was decent. Lived this place and will return. Read more
I took my mom to Galveston for Mother's Day and we enjoyed a great lunch at Willie G's. They were offering a special Mother's... day menu and everything we ordered was delicious! The service was great, it wasn't too crowded as we had previously madereservations, and as usual the views were lovely due to the restaurant's great location. They graciously validated our parkingand we were able to walk around the Strand for a few hours! It is definitely one of our go-to spots when visiting the island! Read more
We loved this place so much the first time we went that we went back the next day. Perfect, peaceful, totally shaded outdoor... area with couches and tables with view of water where boating tours take off from (fun to watch). All day happy hour (11am to7pm) with great drinks. Servers are perfect as is the food. Much better experience, quality and prices vs the Seawall. Entirestaff very welcoming of our dog. Read more
Great food! The mixed grilled Platter was huge & fresh. We had lunch outside on the covered patio. You could see the water &... tour boats. We even spotted a dolphin! It's located on Pier 21. Great location and service. Highly recommend. Read more
The drinks were a little overly sweet and our waitress while knowledgeable was a bit brisk. My mom was having some stomach... issues and needed a very plain meal, and even after we said she had no allergies the waitress was asking very probing questionsthat embarrassed my mom. Celebrated my Pastor's birthday at Willie G's. It was a great experience for my first time of dining here for lunch. The... atmosphere and service was excellent. We enjoyed our meals. The seating allows you to have a great view of the ocean. They havedining inside or outside. They have a list of their specialty cocktails for that day, if desired with your meal. At lunch youare able to chose from the lunch or dinner menu and appetizer menu. A great place to hang out with family, friends, orco-workers. You won't be disappointed. Enjoyed dining here. Read more
Wonderful place when looking for some fresh seafood. Everything tasted great, prepared well, presented perfectly! The atmosphere... is comfortable. Staff is very friendly and will take good care of you. Parking adjacent to the restaurant with 3 hour validationby Willie G's. Great views of the harbor from the adjoining dock.
