So, all in all pretty good, the wait staff was friendly and its a really nice energetic environment for breakfast, however, the... issue with Eggspectation is the name. I ordered a quasi-difficult egg dish to prepare (salmon benny [eggs benedict]for $20) andit came out over done. It tasted great, but for $20, I eggspected it to be runny, like every other eggs benedict I've evereaten. We will definitely try again, but for now... three stars is all I can give. Read more
First timer and really pleased. Best breakfast in the area by far! Had the grits, crab cakes, and crepe. All came out fast... and were great. Service was good and waitress was very attentive. Read more
New restaurant that doesn?t disappoint. I?m not a breakfast person, in fact I cut out breakfast a few years ago, but this place... was really good. The hype has led to longer waits, I got quotes 1.5 hours for 4 people, but got the text in 40 min. I wouldrecommend that you double check with the host that they have the right number, because they had the wrong one for me. Theirnumber for me only had 9 digits? Weird that didn?t raise any red flags. Service: Was good for us. Food came out fast, and thewater was filled quick. Great modern atmosphere. The auto 18% tip was ehhhh, not sure how I felt about that. It would actuallymake me not want to tip more. But I see how it would balance out. Chicken and waffles (8/10): good meal. The cheese grits were amazing and I normally don?t like them but my friend said to try them so I did. It reminds me of mash... potatoe-like grits. The burger was cooked really well, I ordered medium and that?s what I got. The patties were much biggerthan expected. The fries are basic though. They are crispy fries. I sat at the bar to eat a late lunch. Service was quick and employees were very friendly. Food came out quick, hot, & so good!... Clean establishment & even better ambiance. There is an automatic gratuity added to every check. Didn?t think this was an issueat all for the service I received. Can?t wait to come back! Read more
We came here opening weekend on (5/14), around 1130am for Brunch. It was pretty packed! The wait time we were told for a party... of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) was an hour and 10 minutes, but we definitely were seated way before then. The staff was pretty calm andvery inviting once you walked in. Ambiance was very nicee and modern. Our server was Miles, he was great. Very polite, andpatient! It was our first time there so we took forever to look over the menu and decide what to order. so we got a variety ofthings to taste. Overall food was fresh, hot and delicious. I went for brunch on 10/30. The food tasted good.. the French toast was ok, I probably should?ve gotten pancakes instead. Don?t... order a ?half? pitcher of mimosa because it?s very small and you will get 3/4 glasses at the most. Potatoes, eggs & strawberrymimosa (10/10).
