Place was my go to Popeyes for years. All of a sudden the last 2 months or so they?ve been closing anywhere from 8:30-10pm even... though online, and the door of the actual restaurant says there?s not a day of the week it should ever close before 11pm.Probably because of a new ?cool? manager that lets the workers close when they don?t feel like working. Chicken was very fresh. I will come again, even though my husband's fries were not in the bag.
Wanted to try their fried shrimp & fish sandwich. The fish sandwich was salty on an unhealthy level...took 3 bites & threw the... rest out. The shrimp was nice with a little kick...but some of the shrimp still had wet batter on it & weren't fully cooked. Outof 8 pieces, 3 were not cooked & had wet batter on 1 side. It was a decent first time in a long time visit. I only went because of the #TMobileTuesdays promotion. The shrimp were tasty... and a decent size. I like the sweet heat sauce with them as opposed to cocktail sauce, odd as it seems. I didn't like the Coleslaw nor gravy n mashed potatoes but the strawberry creme pie was very good. Thank you for a decent meal for $6 normally around13. The biscuit was very good but seemed smaller than my +10 years ago visit. Read more
