It's the best Chinese in Gananoque with the most reasonable prices. That being said they also own The Imperial Motel that is in... behind and that brings the rating down a fair bit. I'll choose not to elaborate. Read more

Good staff and friendly service, but it's take out only. We were looking to eat in the restaurant for a more relaxing time. But... the food was real good and a good value for the price Read more

Got takeout here with my husband for lunch. The prices are a tad high, though with inflation right now they're not far... off. Staff was friendly. Did try to upsell, but not pushy. Very kindly gave us free crispy wontons to snack on while we waited, and free plain white rice with my meal (perfectly cooked and sticky!) My husband got the C9 special plate and I got the SpicyGarlic Eggplant. Spicy Eggplant is my favorite Chinese dish *ever* and they nailed it! Perfectly cooked and the sauce wasfabulous! My husband is very fussy with beef because he hates chewy bits - this beef was perfectly tender and seasoned! Thespring rolls are smaller than normal spring rolls, and really good - could have been a bit crisper but overall great. Fabulouschicken to batter ratio on the chicken balls. The sauce does come on them so FYI if you don't like that ask for it separatelyupfront. The complaint reviews here mostly refer to the "Canadian Chinese Food" dishes. If you go I highly suggest theauthentic Chinese food dishes, you'll be very happy! Read more

Every item is over priced. No flavour in fried rice or in noodles. Rice is not free running but all lumpy. Noodles not fried... fully and kind of soggy. Non-veg dishes are all sweet and sticky and lacks flavour. Food is even worse than that of MandarinRestaurant. Read more

Purchased two large won ton soups today. They gave me two soups which were not even close to being full and the price has jumped... dramatically. It cost over $24. The quality of the soup has gone down. No pork in it. I won't be back. The only reason I gaveone star is the lady at the cash is always pleasant. Read more

Ordered chicken fried rice and chicken balls for takeout. Rice was gummy all stuck together tasted like it had been sitting a... long time. More batter than chicken in the chicken balls. The sauce was just dumped in and leaked out of the container. Eggrolls were a joke. Not worth the money, won't be back. So diner beware you are taking your chances. Got a reply from therestaurant but couldn't make heads or tails of it. Bottom line DON'T EAT THERE. Most places will put the s/s sauce in a smallcontainer not dumped in with the dough balls - sorry they claim to be chicken balls. I'll spend the money in gas and go toWong's in Kingston. EXCELLENT service and NEVER any problems with their food when we bring it home. Read more
