We stopped in Ganacoque for a few days while boating in the Thousands Island. No reservation and we got into the Maple Leaf... around 20:00 on a Wednesday night. Great service , great menu and we decided to go for the diner menu: Rahm Schnitzel andchicken Schnitzel, simply excellent. Make sure to take the spaetzle! Great service!!!!!! Read more

My wife, my kids and I dined here tonight. We ordered the pierogi, a bratwurst, the hummus veggie wrap, poutine, and chicken... tenders for the kids. I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and come from an Eastern European family, so I know pierogi. I've hadhomemade from my great grandma and various aunts and babushka wearing ladies in my 36 years of life, and these were among thebest I have ever had. Seriously, I've had thousands of pierogi in my lifetime. They were served with crumbled bacon andperfectly caramelized onion. I just wish they had a lekvar (prune) pierogi on the menu. The bratwurst and borscht were alsoreally good. Wish I was staying in town one more night to try some more dishes. Also, they had a couple Czech beers on tapwhich never disappoint. I had Czechvar and it was very crisp and fresh . Great food, and if I ever return to this town again, Iwill definitely be stopping by. Read more

Pierogi (bacon and jalapeno) were delicious! Borscht (beet soup) was great too. Nice light dinner.

Nice restaurant on the main street of the town. One very nice waitress, very pleasant and kind service. A very large menu for... different meals. Not large portions for lunch (15:30) All dishes are very tasty. The restaurant is relatively large. Read more

Everyone's meals, Beef Rouladen, leg of Duck, and burger were delicious but we would have preferred larger portions. I had both... the light and dark Czech beers and I loved them both. Read more

If you are a food lover, and wanna try out european style, (czech/german traditional cuisine), this is the place to go! Very... cozy atmosphere, nice music from 80's on the background, very friendly and polite staff, excellent fresh food quality, cooked onyour order, nice size portions, very decent prices. Great choices of schnitzels, goulasch or paprikas, traditional borsch, homemade piroska with Sauerkraut and potatos, and local beers or czech beers! Even desserts like traditional Apfel Strudel, nice, creamy and hot, or also traditional crème brûlé, like my mother use to do it when I was a kid! A place to remember andto comeback! ???????????????????????? Read more

First time here. Tasted good but a bit expensive. Loved the homemade pierogies with onion and bacon BUT only came with 4 and... was 12.95. Wish there was at least 6 or more. Also had the Rahm schnitzel, tasted good but a bit heavy in the caraway (in thesauce). Also had the chicken schnitzel, the chicken was really good and crunchy. We both enjoyed our food. We both had thespecial which came with side salad, found it small and the dressing was bottled and we felt it was watered down. Read more

Absolutely fantastic food made with love and care. Our kids loved the grilled cheese from the kids menu - so often the kids menu... is a throw-away, this was quality worthy of the "adults" menu. Relaxed and friendly service. We felt right at home and willdefinitely come again next time we're in the area. Read more
