Great spot just off the 401 if you need a bite!
We were here on 25th August 2022. I am from Edmonton Alberta. We got lucky to find a Subway in Gananoque. We crunched our hunger... at this location with definitely in a proper guidance. It has been almost over 2 years we have never visited to a subway in anywhere. When we entered the store we were greeted properly. Girl "Mahi" was the one who helped us to understand new menu Itemsand new recipes of subs. My kids are Gluten Allgergic and Mahi took care of that in really professional manner as she changedthe gloves and cleaned the counter. All 4 subs were garnished and really well balanced. I would love to see such an excellentcustomer service along with such undetstanding of the products and professionalism. I usually have great service here... But today it was just absolutely Terrible! There was no meat in the counter to put on my... subs so as she waited for them to fill it up.. She put all of the stuff on the subs 1st... So when she put the meat on it, Halfof it was hanging out of the sub.. Yeah I know no big deal I could fix it when I get home but it was a big mess... Then I askedher for subsauce on the side because I don't like how they put too much on one when I only like a little... But ask her to putit in a small bag so that it wouldn't open up.. This review has been a long time coming. 1st visit was over four years ago and I noticed a black curly hair on top of the cheese... pile, so disgusting! They simply threw away the offending slice and proceeded to make my sub, but I was so disgusted I justthrew it away. 4 years later I come back hoping things had improved. NO! Luckily this time there was no hair (that I could see)on any of the ingredients but the bread was stale, the sub itself tasted disgusting compared to all the other subs I've had atother locations. This one should be shut down!!! DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH!!! Also if you call Subway they justgive your phone number to that location - without asking you!!! They phoned me the first time and said I could come in for afree sub....Disgusting and Subway themselves should be ashamed. Eat at the Kingston locations or any other! I use to love Subway but now the bread here is always flaky and crumbles , it's over cooked. Some staff are very nice like the... owners and some of the young men are rude . Definitely need better training. I prefer the one in Kingston where It's fresh andthey don't skimp on toppings . Read more
I think they short customers on the meat for the sandwiches...I usually LOVE subway and have been eating there since I can... remember. Even my dad would take us for subs on the nights we had soccer games, we always got a damn good sandwich and goodbalance of meat and toppings. I avoid eating at this particular subway as much as possible but sometimes when I'm in a pinch andI do, it reminds me again why I don't ???? Read more
I eat here about once a week, and it's always a pleasant experience. Staff are very friendly, food is always fresh.
