what a lovely surprise it was to find the Woodview Inn. We loved our stay , beds were comfortable, ambience is elegant. The... hotel is in a lovely Victorian home, The garden rooms are sympathetically furnished and spacious, but the main house oozes withcharm. The restaurant is wonderful . Steve and John are amazing hosts and they made us feel welcome. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated. The... daily breakfast is great as well and there?s a nice patio outside. Stayed one night in the Lady Margaret suite, the room was clean and very relaxing. My wife and I are newlyweds and it was a... perfect room for a honeymoon stay with a nice Jacuzzi tub. One of our favorite parts, which made the stay feel unique, wasprobably the hosts. John and Steven were great at making you feel welcome. Something I've never really experienced. The food atthe Grayden was also delicious and a very good portion. The location was great, though in Gananoque, everything is close by.Would stay again in the future. Read more
We had a beautiful, luxurious, impeccably clean room and exceptional service! This inn is straight out of a hallmark movie...... the owners invite you in and have a level of care and familiarity that is unlike any hotel. They showed us around the beautifulold house and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. They even bring a cooler of complimentary breakfast toyour door and you can choose to eat it in your room or eat it downstairs on the patio or even in the dining room. The decor isluxurious and the quality of the linens and curtains and towels is fantastic. The owners are very much on top of the maintenanceof the place and they are incredibly friendly. Absolutely brilliant from top to bottom. The service was impeccable, the owners greeted us personally upon arrival and took us... on a tour of the grounds which are masterfully appointed. The in house restaurant service was prompt and delicious withfriendly and helpful wait staff. The room we stayed in was lovely complete with jacuzzi tub and tasteful decor. The bed linenswere of very high quality and made for a comfortable sleep. In short, we cannot recommend this inn enough. Read more
This Inn was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! We did a two week long road trip and stopped and various different accommodations and have... to say that the Woodview Inn was by far the best and knocked it out of the park. We arrived early and was hoping to get our rooma little early after a long morning of driving and was quickly welcomed by smiling faces from all the staff members. TheInnkeepers John and Stephen were extremely proud to show off their home and hard work (and rightfully so!) and the history ofthe Inn. The rooms were clean and beautifully kept and designed. The "breakfast in a cooler" left on our doorstep in the morningwas a fantastic way to start off the day and we enjoyed our breakfast on the patio where we were welcomed with fresh coffeewhile enjoying the sun and surrounding environment. Our only wish is that we had booked another night here because the serviceand accommodation was just top notch! Will definitely be recommending the Woodview Inn to family & friends and will definitelystop here again our for next journey to this part of Canada. Read more
Our room was not large, but it was beautifully decorated and the touch of the interior designer (owner) was strongly felt. The... personal touch of the owners extends to every aspect of the Inn, including both the physical side and the quality of service andpersonal attention to the guests. We enjoyed our breakfast cool box in the dining room, and that meant we received served coffeeand tea there. By chance we met the owners in the bar/restaurant (Mavericks) where we ate dinner in town. Unknown to us at thetime, they paid for our first drinks as well! Quite unnecessary, but another extra personal touch! Read more
