I wouldn?t recommend this place to my worst enemy, front desk workers are saucy, snide & condescending. The rooms are gross at... best, smelly, the showers are dated & there was not even a shower head to speak of. The internet does not function at all, theyuse a third party sever that you must sign into & give your information too before you can even hope to use the internet, andeven then it doesn?t function correctly. I stayed for 7 days & every single day I got back to this place I?d take the 5 minutewalk to my room, just to find that my room keys do not work, this happened every single day I was there. 1500$ for 7 days withno internet, In a gross room, with appliances that dated back to the early 2000?s. If I could give lower than 1 star Iabsolutely would. For your moneys worth, stay at the comfort inn next door. Read more

The check-in time of 4 pm is definitely not a guarantee. The room was not ready until some time after 4pm. The cleanliness of... the rooms are 3/10. We stayed multiple days and had issues with the room access cards every day. The front desk told us not toplace the wallet card in our wallets because the card may end up deactivated. Funny thing is....the cards were not stored in awallet. The front desk employees were very inconsistent with information about room availability. We had to come back multipletimes before the room was ready. We were told that a specific room was available and once we checked in it was not. We weretold it wasn't yet cleaned for guests. Hotel is right along the highway and beside Jungle Jim's, definitely have to stop in there. Room was renovated somewhat recently... and had a nice bed, only 1 good pillow the rest were flat. Stayed 2 nights. First night I had the towels from the previousoccupant and room service tray infront on the door opposite mine. I left 2 days later and the room service tray was still thereand the room was never serviced. I don't expect a perfect room but I do like my bed to be made when I get back from a long dayout. AC worked in the living room area but not in the bedroom. Read more

I think this is considered a "3.5 star hotel " so my 5 is based on that. If I was any higher of a star hotel I wouldn't give it... 5 because 5 would mean everything is next to perfect. Its not here but ots very good. Had a bigger suite with living room. Greatac in the bedroom. The once in the living room didnt work great. Beds very comfortable, no noise, mini fridge, ironing board,TV in two rooms . Curtains block out all light. Complimentary coffee tea. Nice bathroom with full-sized tub hair dryer. Nicetile and sink top. Only thing they should have a microwave in the room. The breakfast was just under $10 tax in. Bacon eggs, hash Brown's, homade toasted bread was awesome. I really like the layout of the hotel nice decor. Read more

When we first arrived and checked in the first problem was the cost. When I booked the room it was $129 however when we checked... in the total was $167. When I questioned this I was told it must have been booked in USD which made no sense as I?m Canadian andthis is located in Canada. We didn?t persue arguing just got checked in and headed to our room. Well that was a chore in itself, this hotel is laid out like a maze, every time we turned a corner where the sign said our room was, the room wasn?t there, therewere levels going every which way. We finally found our room only to find out the key card didn?t work. Back we go to try andfind the front desk. We?re given another key card, get lost again going back to room only to find that the new key cardswouldn?t work. By now we were very irritated and told them we were going to go find somewhere else to stay. Of course because webooked online they couldn?t cancel the room is what we were told. We were about to eat the cost of the room when another ladycame out from the office and asked why we didn?t want to stay. We explained and she offered a room close to the front desk, sowe wouldn?t get lost and one with a working key card. It was a terrible experience, we were in Newfoundland for 10 days and thiswas the only place we stayed where I haven?t given a 4 or 5 star rating. Read more

Arrived at the hotel and had dodge pot holes in the entrance to the parking lot. Parked the car across from the entrance and... couldn?t help but notice weeds and dandelions everywhere in spite of the neighbouring businesses who seemed to have some pridein keeping their grounds groomed and clean. Generally, the entrance, public spaces and corridors were not properly vacuumedand maintained. We were checked into a sub basement room overlooking a concrete courtyard/parking area in the back of the hotelwith yet more weeds jutting out of cracks in the concrete and building. We had another reservation booked on a stay and playpackage at the end of the month ? we promptly cancelled the arrangements and booked at a competitor hotel. Read more
