Stopped on our drive back to Ontario. Couldn't have stopped at a better place for some breakfast and fresh homemade bread!
Super disappointed? Ordered a chicken chaser wrap and it was first off tiny. No lettuce tomato or like anything that would make... it a Caesar wrap other than the dressing. I wouldn?t not be so irritated if it wasn?t 10$. Which is wildly over priced for atiny chicken wrap. Read more
Totally worth the stop! Super cute place, excellent breakfast. I had the Mega Touton... so good! It filled my hungry belly with... total deliciousness! Loved the choose-your-own-coffee-mug cup rack, handmade with drift wood. All cups donated by customers andfriends! Read more
Our visit to the Gander Bread Box was one of the highlights of our trip. We are vegan and have a bit of a challenge eating when... we travel. We saw on reviews that they had some vegan options in the past so we went to check it out for breakfast. The ownersaid nothing presently on the menu was vegan but if we could wait a few minutes, his wife would be back and she does most of thecooking and she'd fix us something. She was out getting groceries, picked up some tofu, and whipped us up an absolutelydelicious breakfast wrap. We were so moved by the hospitality and kindness of these people. What was originally a stopover onthe way to the rest of our trip became a memorable highlight. And if you're not vegan... man their bread and pastries lookedgood! Coffee was delicious as well. OMG this place is a gem! Delicious?worth a trip to Gander just to get the biscuits let alone the bread and food items!!!
Absolutely delicious place; the breakfast mess was amazing, the customer service was fantastic and the owner is a true... gentleman. Would definitely come back here again in a heartbeat. Also, for gluten sensitivities and celiac friendly food theyhave probably the most options on the island. Read more

The owners are great people, the baked goods are excellent, and their lunch/breakfast is amazing and inexpensive. They love... seeing military personnel, so if you are in the forces or are a vet make sure to drop by!
