This place is great, they sell a variety of baked goods and a surprising amount of local products from other salt spring... companies. We ordered the ginger twist and cheese twist, which both were good for different reasons. Cheese twist was a tad toosalty, but overall great combination and good bread. However, our favourite was the ginger twist. Bread was softer, wasn?t toosweet and the ginger flavour really came through. If I return to salt spring, this is definitely a place I?ll return too. My partner and I are visiting Saltspring for the first time and we tried two other coffee places before finding Barb?s and... finally finding the perfect coffee AND treats!! I had a potato bacon pastry and it was sooooo good. Super friendly and helpfulstaff, lots of cute goodies to peruse (I got a Barb?s candle for a very reasonable price and a funny fridge magnet) Overallloved the place! Very busy, but fast customer service. They didn't heat up our food, but I think you need to ask for it to be done. The place was... quite dirty. The tables weren't clean and the floors were streaked with food crumbs and dirt. The food however was pretty good.The croissant was amazing, the carrot cake was good, and so was the smoothie. They make it with fresh fruit! Also got the pizzatwist and that tasted quite good too! ???? Read more
Love Barb's, come everytime Im on salt spring. When the crew is working on SSI we get all our meals from Barb's. Service is... always perfect and food is always delicious. Never leave without cinnamon twists or Cruffins (if you can get them ????). Thanksfor the great service......and the special cruffins. Read more
