Nice little pub on Salt Spring with friendly staff. They have a pool table, which is nice. Dropped a star as we went there one... night for a drink and even though they have 12 posted as their closing time, they closed early. I get that it?s a small town,but feel there should be better communication about them closing early on slow nights. Read more

We stopped here for their duck wings, which were probably the best wings we?ve ever had. The sauce was amazing and the duck fell... off the bone. We also ordered the brisket mac and cheese and the Moby?s burger. There was a lot of meat in the mac and cheeseand it was also really good. Definitely get that and the duck wings if you go. We came in to catch the Kentucky derby that afternoon. The owner nicely turned the channel over for us and even turned up the... volume. Server was attentive and drinks were delicious. Thank you! Read more
Food was very, very, very good. The green Thai curry mussels were so big and flavourful. We loved them!! The duck wings were... also so delicious and I would very much recommend them to anyone. The service is OK, but consistent with the pub vibe. Peoplewere nice but not attentive. Amazing views, so if you can get there early and sit by the window that is a real treat!! It isvery busy so we recommend going early. Read more
Great little marine pub at Ganges. Right on the water, had great live music on the patio, tasty calamari and a California... chicken club sandwich, dished up with excellent service from the nicest and friendliest server, Lexxie. Dale, if you are readingthis, she deserves a raise for doing such a good job. Great spot to stop and loiter over a fresh bite and a cold drink. 5stars. Read more
We had a nice lunch here and the service was good as well. I had the chicken club sandwich which was delicious served with a... side salad and my husband had the special of the day which was a beer and a burger for $17. The Moby burger was yummy withcheddar cheese and bacon served with fries. Read more
We had an amazing dinner here in August. I love their buck a duck, we were so lucky to visit here on Monday. The chowder was... really great as well, loaded with a full bowl of seafoods. Their frozen cocktails were delicious, and it?s very creative! Thesteak and the brisket were fair, because the ducks were way too wonderful. Lol We will definitely come back again if we havechance to visit SSI! I m highly recommend this restaurant, this is a must visit place. Read more
