GCC is a clean and inviting restaurant but unfortunately this is where it ends. Even with inflation, the pricing for the food is... high in my opinion. $13.00 for chicken fingers, A cup of Tomato bisque that tasted like a thick Campbell's tomato soup, chewyand tough chicken fingers with a side of fries was not worth the price. I've been randomly visiting this place over the past 10 years. It has gone from a unremarkable "coney island" to a comfortable... dining place with live music and a brand new menu. 2022 update: They did an amazing job remodeling this restaurant. My wife and I came in for breakfast and it was delicious. The... service was attentive and our food came out promptly. I highly recommend stopping in! Pre Covid: They were pretty busy when Icame in Sunday morning but the staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the Swiss and mushroom omelette and it wasdelicious. This place is a HIDDEN GEM. I ordered BLT pizza, it was phenomenal. Everything is homemade. Try it with ranch and Italian... dressing on the side. Sat at the bar ordered two mule drinks, that were excellent! Bartender/server Amanda very friendly andknowledgeable. Tony the owner spent time getting to know me and telling me the story behind the remodel of the business. I feltlike I was at a pub downtown royal oak or downtown detroit. Awesome first experience.
